Amazon, it was also £3.99. Being in hospital I am limited on who I can order from, usually because of minimum spend/free delivery, so I have to keep on lining Amazon's pocket.

I said to Mr Fudge the other day, is it your mums birthday soon?? He never replied and today he said it was my mums birthday yesterday!! FFS so I’ve knocked up these cupcakes for her he can give to her tomorrow! Next year I’m writing all of his families birthdays in my diary because I can’t rely on him!

Hope you’re all good I was so tired last night I fell asleep on the couch before 10. So feeling a bit more refreshed today. I’ve got a working from home day today so a slower start and I had a lie in until 7.
Not much else planned today I’m getting my nails done later on so that’s good I love nail day but I’m very boring and just have standard colours that I alternate between much to the dismay of my nail girl.
The weather looks like it’s going to be another nice day here so I’ll try and get out for a walk on lunch too.

As for me, I have had a night from hell. I'll come back later and share more. I just think much of my issues are from being in hospital for such a long time and it is getting harder and harder to be OK with that and doesn't matter what I say or who I talk to nobody can wave a magic wand and wake my broken body up and send me home. No-one can do that so I'm like a stuck record mithering on and on. The sooner I reach some kind of acceptance the easier my days will become. But how do you accept this to begin with? Kind of a rhetorical question, I know there is no real answer.
hey ho. Another day. The sun is peeking through outside which is a good sign, another is that my favourite carer is here today for my personal care so that is better.

@ordinaryjelly i wish I had something wise & helpful to say like how you do when I’m feeling down about something silly, and to make you feel better, but I can’t even imagine what you’re going through to even try to make you feel better. All I can tell you is you’re so brave, and strong, and a real inspiration how strong you’re being. I don’t think I could do what you’ve been doing for so long. I know it’s not much but we’re all here for you

Im just getting ready for another day in the office. My bestie is in and I haven’t seen her in sooo long I’m so excited. I’ve put my new top on and I really liked it but now I’ve convinced myself it looks like pyjamas
anyway I’m gonna convince somebody to buy me Starbucks when I get there and get away with doing as little as possible! Hope everybody has a good day

Just know that you're not a stuck record, we are all here to listen to you and I just wish I could do something to help. You're strong, and like Watermelon says, an inspiration!

My Dad has taken my Mum away this week and he took the opportunity to speak to her last night about her health and to explain all of our worries about her. She really opened up to him but the extent of what she's been doing to mask the problem (rather than seeking and accepting actual medical intervention) is far worse than we thought. She is getting a bit of help now and I'm glad she's opened up but I just have this overwhelming feeling of guilt. Guilt that I didn't notice how bad things were. Guilt that she didn't feel she could talk to me. Guilt that I could have done more. I feel like a terrible person and daughter.

@WilmaHun dont feel guilty, you noticed things were wrong and you done all you could do! Some people are just very good at hiding what is wrong, it’s not your fault you didn’t know how bad things may be. The main thing is she’s getting the help she needs. I hope she’s ok and she gets sorted out

@ordinaryjelly although I am unaware of your situation, accepting something we never imagined to happen is truly one of the hardest things to ever experience. I am so sorry you are feeling this way and I’m not sure, like others, there are any words we can say that will make you feel better. I spend about £20 a week, as its the only thing I drinkIf you can find any solace in the fact I drink sooo much Coke Zero too then please do. Last year I spent £1500 on it. Ridiculous
