I work with a woman who is a younger than me and a grade above me so she likes to make my life difficult. The other week when it was my birthday she said to me “does it not bother you that you’re 32 and only a grade X?” And then this morning in our weekly catch up, someone said I looked tired and she pipes in “You know Belle, probably been on the booze all weekend!”

Omg whattttttttttt is actually wrong with people?! That is so bad. There’s a 63 year old in my office who snitched on me for having the Dunelm website open once. She’s literally 3x my age. The only person close to my age is my manager, and when I met her for the first time she told me that she tried to get me sacked

I am still not caught up on the posts. My apologies. But I did see @watermelon sugar post about feeling like no one likes her and saw some of you saying you feel the same as well. I also feel the same a lot of times. I am wondering if our anxiety or whatever these feelings are more common these days. Because when I tried to talk to my parents about my anxiety, it took them years to accept that anxiety can be this debilitating and have an effect on our daily lives and self-esteem. They are still on the fence (to be honest, they have accepted that I am disabled but they can't understand why or how) because for them, they say there are people out there who are homeless/starving/in war and we should be grateful that we are alive and have a roof over our heads and these feelings are just in our minds so we should just throw them away. My mom is 57 and my dad is 67 if that gives some generational context. But it is not easy to do so when we are feeling so inadequate about ourselves and thinking we are unlikable/everyone hates us, isn't it? Sorry to be a Debbie Downer. Just some thoughts I have had. I really appreciate that you all here are so open and transparent with your personal struggles no matter how big or small they are. I was able to work again today and I hope I am on the mend. I am sending good wishes and love to all of you who need them. Just wanted to say thank you to everyone, especially @WilmaHun because we are the same age and you really seem to get the struggles with age-related expectations people (including ourselves) put on us.
On a lighter note, I have thrown myself into r/KUWTK and have been reading every post because it makes me feel so much better about my life. At least, I am not Kanye's ex-wife! I feel for his mental illnesses since I have a few myself but mental illnesses don't give us a free pass to be lashing out at everyone all the time!

I’m not feeling myself at all lately

I feel like I’m just existing and I don’t feel myself or even know who I am. I spend a lot of time in silence and then my bf says I’m being weird. I have no appetite either. Mums cooking a roast and I’m already thinking of my excuse to not eat it. I don’t feel sad exactly just really really empty. I’ve just started therapy so I’m hoping that will help but I’m wondering if I need anti depressants or something to help or am I being dramatic?!

plus West Ham are losing at the mo to shitty old Tottenham. What a time to be alive.

@Rxt156 @Peaches_xox Who chose your baby names in the end if you don't mind me asking? I feel like it's such a massive decision to make!

Mr peaches had suggested it during pregnancy and I was such a bitch I said absolutely not. When he was born he was just the baby for about 2 weeks and then I backtracked and said I actually quite like that name so we tested it out and it stuck and now I can’t believe I didn’t like it!

I'm sorry I cannot stand people who let their dogs run up to people/other dogs. Just because you think your dog is alright, and he may well be. My parents dog (on her lead) bit another dog who came running over into her space and the other dogs owner was so shitty to my mum. If you kept your dog under control she wouldn't have been hurt so tough luck. She hounded my mum for ages to try and get her to pay the vet bill. And she still lets her dog run up to other people/dogs. So selfish.

Question - does everybody shower the second they wake up? Sometimes I lounge around in my pjs for an hour or two before I’m ready to shower and get ready and apparently I’m the only female mr peaches knows who does this? Almost like I’m disgusting
