My brother in Law is from near Hamburg and he said all their restrictions will end in this month. Does that sound like going into lockdown to you?

Teachers and schools could fight for a more affordable approach to education. Calling everyone who disagrees with the system a “teacher basher” is a manipulative way to silence people from speaking up. The cost of books and school is far too high.

How do you know teachers and schools aren’t fighting? You aren’t a teacher as you said that curricula hasn’t changed in decades Why don’t you and she blame the publishers and the department of Ed rather than teachers? (Who by the way have a lot of other things to deal with.)

Kids nanny lives in council house in swords and her next door neighbour is binman with council, I don’t think there’s any rules against it? So long as no conflict of interest presumably?

I would guess they get a sizable working family payment. The threshold is 1,200 a week for a family of 7.

Is that 1,200 pw gross or net? It’s really not that much for a family of 7 to live on if it’s gross with a mortgage etc. but if council house/subsidised rent I guess that different.

Sometimes if I’m up with my toddler during the night I’ll watch stories with no sound as a lot have captions now & others I can sometimes lipread but I realised her mouth barely moves & it’s totally unreadable, it’s the only person I’ve ever noticed that with.

There was a degree called "Government" or maybe "Government and politics" when i was in UCC. So entirely possible

She did a giveaway to a local charity this week and fair play to her for it. She left things in for clients and staff who are volunteers.
I really like her, in a world of falseness and bullshit bloggers, she speaks her mind and calls it as it is.. she refused to use gifted tag as if a collab it's not a gift and quite right too. Never met her but I would buy that woman a drink if I ever did.
