But if its not entertaining and you don't enjoy their content, then you wouldn't be swiping up anyway so kinda irrelevant no? But if you are watching their stories and they have gone to the bother of providing a link to something you actually want, then what harm for them to make a few euro on something that you bought because of them and it doesn't cost you anything extra? (Not so much FBG as most of her swipe ups are of no interest to me but other bloggers/influencers...)

I swipe up on links if the item interests me and I enjoy the Instagramer’s content. I don’t swipe up cos Cherry Sue told me I should. I don’t swipe up cos I feel I need to keep these people in a job. Most of the times I have swiped up it’s been on a link from a person who isn’t flogging everything known to man, but someone who has a normal job and does Instagram mainly as a hobby type thing. Someone I’d trust when they give their opinion. One can still have an opinion on Cherry Sue’s post without swiping up on every af link on the internet.

Those poor kids look miserable half the time. Surely the novelty of the snow has worn off by now, she has been there for ages! Never mind my kids, I would be fed up wandering around in the cold eating reindeer in someone else's house! It would be a very different trip if it wasn't all free! I'm not even going to check what she's said so. Not many Amber heard supporters from what I've seen and rightly so imo but of course she's one of those who automatically believes a woman. 100% she is… why else would her and her sister be taking screenshots and sharing them on their stories. The reality of it is there are a lot more active threads on here. This one is incredibly mild and actually boring (bit like them) they know others have been spoken about on here and they know everyone knows about this site because of that. So they're trying to stay relevant by sharing what’s wrote on here about them - as a kind of “look it’s happening me too” “I’m in with the big people now”

probably hoping a big name will share it and send some followers their way. They all do it, my eyes will roll out of my head one of theses days most people only follow then for the goss and drama.

Makes sense, the sharing of screen shots will send people to tattle as well !

Seems to me like there is misinterpretation of what she's saying. There was a tweet yesterday where someone was blasting bloggers for including their affiliate links instead of "supporting local business". She's not saying it's your personal responsibility to feed their families, she's saying why wouldn't they push their links and why wouldn't someone use them for things they're going to buy anyway. It's not their responsibility to entertain you for free either, to be frank. Seriously the unnecessary rage over this is just silly.

Also- content creation is a job. Just because it's not a traditional job, doesn't mean it isn't. Is being a musician not a real job? Or an author? Or journalist? It's all the same. Move with the times.

Well that’s just as well then cos there’s f all entertaining content out of most of the vast majority of them, it’s all ads and flogging crap from what I can see. Is that entertainment? I thought it was advertising.
If it was a real job they’d be able to feed their families on their wage they’d earned. Traditional advertising agencies manage to pay their staff or they let them go. Maybe those who have been decimated to the point of not being able to feed their families need to find a new job.
The only rage I detect here is yours, enough to suspect you have skin in the game.

To be fair she could have gotten it for any number of reasons. My husband has asthma and not serious and he is extremely fit, healthy and low bmi but he has been asked if he would like to go on a waitlist.

That is very true. I did think Asthma is up there for high risk though? But your right could be for any reason. I’m fully vaccinated for a while now. But I didn’t really have anyone asking me why. I think that’s Sue just making a loaf of bread out a crumb.
