I have done that, out of the tin - it’s the only way! Don’t get me started on tinned rice pudding (Ambrosia) and custard!
Ambrosia rice pudding is my favourite food if I’m not feeling right. But I add some tinned carnation milk to make it creamier/sweeter.

I have found a love for egg, tomato and salad cream sandwiches, basic eggs, cheap salad cream, cheap bread, home grown tomatoes, all tastes the same to me and a nice cheap lunch!

Ramen bowls, usually from the asian supermarket. Obsessed.
Very handy lunch or even dinner if you throw some extra veg and protein in.

I don't eat that much meat, I love it but I was also pescaterian for years (for ethical reasons) so if I do buy it I try to buy free range etc (in general, not always tbh) but i LOVE the heinz baked beans with sausages in them, I hadn't had them in about 20 years, saw them in a supermarket on sale and bought them. now I love them :ROFLMAO:
Have you tried the veggie ones? I only like the Branston beans so got these and lovely l. Reminded me of being a kid so had on toast, with a jacket potato or a potato waffle. My sister had hers with smiley face potatoes lol x

Egg and salad cream is so much nicer than egg mayo.

My favourite cheap things came from Home Bargain. Pack of sealing food bag clips. Absolutely brilliant.

They do indeed - https://groceries.asda.com/product/waffles-shapes-wedges/birds-eye-original-alphabites/1000253415208

Here are the beans and veggie sausages -https://groceries.asda.com/product/baked-beans/branston-baked-beans-with-vegetarian-sausages-in-tomato-sauce/1000132169273

I was thinking of kids food I like and remembered a oven potato croquettes with tomato ketchup in the middle. Don’t think they are around now. Sadly😂

This stuff is amazing I’ve managed to pick it up for 89p a tub. It cleans everything. Much better than the Pink Stuff (in my opinion).

I used to be able to get it in B&M’s and Savers, but haven’t seen it for a while so bulk bought online.

When I was at primary school we had an Australian girl join our class and she told me about fairy bread, I asked my mum to make it for me and she refused🤣 totally forgot about it until now so will make it for myself and see what I have or have not been missing all these years 🤣

I’m not surprised your mum refused! It’s pure sugar! 😂
It’s a nostalgia thing for me now.

Is there a Wilko nearby? The Essence make up is really good for the price.
