I once mistook a bottle of the rose scented shower gel for a bottle of body lotion. It took me a few minutes to realise when the “lotion” wasn’t sinking inI agree, I have the rose scented one and it's brilliant. Has lasted forever as you don't need much to get a good lather so value for money....so much so that I've got another shower gel open too as I get getting bored of the rose smell after weeks and weeks

I bought some cheap primer from the Nutmeg range at Morrison’s, and it’s amazing! It definitely has a skin softening and smoothing effect, it’s only a clear gel, it’s like magic!
It’s my favourite of the cheaper make-up ranges.
I like Rimmel ‘Addiction’ - very similar to Charlotte Tilbury.
I think I saw it recommended on this thread as well: Lidl perfume called ‘Femelle’ is a cheap dupe for Lancôme ‘La Vie eat Belle’. It doesn’t last but it smells the same and is only £4.49.

Revolution powder blush- i know cream blush is in right now but it’s extremely pigmented and only 5 pounds
I like the Revolution bronzer. I have a Chanel and Guerlain one, but I much prefer the Revolution one. It’s highly pigmented though, so you have to use the smallest amount. You get a big pan of the stuff, so it lasts forever. However the packaging sucks, and the lid snaps off from the bottom. You can still use but I wish they would make the hinge more robust. I am a fair skinned natural blond, with red undertones to my skin, and the Cool version is perfect for me.

That’s the thing about cheap makeup. The packaging often sucks. I used to often buy Revolution highlighters but never finish them, the kids break off first.

Asda shades toilet rolls, tesco laundry powder, morrisons own brand chips,fries&wedges their own brand crisps are quite tasty too! Also loving the new metro rolls from aldi at only 80odd pence for 4, son loves them for his packed lunch!

I used to love St Moriz tanning foam & it was like £2 or £3 at bodycare & better than st tropez.

Where do people buy meat from? Chicken Breast, Thigh Fillets, Lean Mince etc? I need to re-fill my freezer and wondering where is the best for price but also quality.
The Aldi 'specially selected' chunky frozen chips are delicious and also the breakfast hash browns, they taste very similar to the McD hash browns.
I usually get mince, bacon etc. from Lidl as it's always a good price and there is always a good selection of large %s for the beef and pork mince to choose from, but I don't really buy chicken - though I've seen talk on the Lidl/Aldi threads that their chicken isn't that good quality.
Tu clothing. I am a former clothes horse, I used to go to Oxford Street every Friday. I used to spend a lot of money on clothes per month. But I have fallen out of love with shopping so TU clothing, which I pick up with a big shop in Sainsbury’s, is all I seem to wear these days. Shops like M&S have dumbed down their quality so I don’t think I am missing out. (I occasionally buy something in an independent shop but I just can’t be arsed these days in schlepping to shops whose offerings are badly made and expensive). Their t-shirts are cheaper and better quality than M&S. Never in a million years would I think that I would be buying most of my wardrobe from Sainsburys.
