Haha love this!

Not bad thanks, had a busy day at work but least it's Friday! Do you have any plans for today?

Not bad thanks! Glad it's Friday :) Are you hoping to get any deals in the Black Friday sales?

I haven't even thought about Black Friday, although I might keep an eye out for a replacement FitBit

I love Fridays, even though I do have quite a bit of work on today, most if working from home.

Have been out for a run, had some brekkie, am reading the online news, will no doubt spend faaarrrrrr to much time on here again. And then potter about trying to keep the house tidy .... again!

Morning all, great start to the day for me, sat on my bloody glasses and snapped the arm off!! So that’s me in all day cos I can’t drive without them 😫

The wall-to-wall media coverage of Covid, is really doing my head in. Lots of talking heads, fancy graphs and plenty of speculation etc. but it doesn't really help people's peace of mind.

So am trying to avoid it all and get on with life. Trouble is when I talk to friends or clients via the phone of IM, the conversation always veers back to Covid. There's no escaping it, and there's not a lot we can do about it either.

Apart from that Friday is going pretty well workwise. Just wish the weather would pick up as its overcast, dull and cold

Better tomorrow though (y)

I’m with you on the Covid front, a lot of it is speculation and makes you unsure what to believe, I follow Professor Karol Sikora on Twitter and base my opinions on what he has to say.
I really need to get out and pick the leaves up in the garden but I can’t be arsed!

Me too. He seems sensible and aware of the wider impact of lockdowns. At the same time he seems to acknowledge that Covid is serious.
I went to Morrison’s and bought their award winning champagne in the Black Friday sale. Only £12 😄 & beat Moet in the taste test. I’m after a vacuum too but Can’t find the one I want in the sale.

Nice 😆 I'm still made up with my coffee machine, got a few Costa pods when I went to Asda even though it's supposed to be a Christmas present
I wanted to see if there were any camera baby monitors in the Black Friday sale but couldn't find any

I don’t need a baby monitor as my 4 week old is loud enough without one 😜

which coffee machine did you get? We used to have an espresso but my OH sold it and bought a dolce gusto which is good. I do miss some of them nespresso flavours though.

Wow that’s a great price,I must be odd as I don’t like champagne, we have 2 bottles that have never been opened in about 4 yrs!!

Sometimes clients really do my head in!

You book an appointed time well in advance so that I can PC Anywhere, to their machine in order to solve an issue. But rather than sitting at their desk to go through what their problem is, they bugger off to either look after their kids, the dogs/cats... or in this case to start lunch!

If they were going to be busy why book an appointment for this time of day!?

Anyway, fixed their problem and all is good. But what should have taken 20 minutes took 50, and all because I had to wait and wait for her to get back to her desk and help out with a couple of mouse clicks

I too should do something with my garden, but I can't be arsed either

I like this thread: helps me vent

How bloody cheeky, some folk eh?
You might be just the person I need to help me, I changed my email address recently but don’t know how to change where it comes up automatically on my phone, it drives me mad having to type it in every time, have you any idea?

Oh I love a general chit chat thread!
I’ve been doing housework all day and I’ve even started on the upstairs yet but I did clean my oven and do a 6.5k run! I’ve got to go and pick the other child up in an hour too so there’s no point in trying to start upstairs!

I did get a bargain in the Black Friday sales for my daughter for Christmas though. One present to tick off. I just don’t know what to get my kids for Christmas it’s stressing me

Changing an email address can a pain depending on who you use (gmail, yahoo, outlook etc), what mobile device you're currently using (Android, Windows or iOS),

Google is your friend here, because there are quite a lot of solutions depending on the above, but it can be a faff.

Have a read of this, and if its for you then try it. https://www.wikihow.com/Change-an-Email-Address
