Horrid eyebrows, untidy eye make up and another unboxing over the weekend. Noticed that she was taking photos of her bags when out - which is important ie time with Dan or showing off a bag?? Taking pictures of your bag at a pub or beer garden is also pretty darn sad.
She sold her leather Dionysus so not sure why she’ll like the mini aside from the fact that it’s new. I suspect Amie likes the thrill of a shiny new toy but the novelty wears off really quickly.

ffs she just sold her dionysus (which was far more practical in terms of size, colour and fabric!) this woman is an idiot!

Agreed with previous comments that she’ll definitely sell this Dionysus probably in 3 months as this one is red (she rarely uses red bags) and barely fits a phone inside 🙄

She actually said in one of her old videos from like 5 years ago that she will never buy red bags again. Lol....

I was watching another bag reviewer and she says you don't really need more than 3 bags - 1 tote, 1 everyday camera bag and 1 really fancy dinner bag / clutch.

It looks really ridiculous wearing Chanel bag to Costcos or to the gas station. I mean if you're going to Per Se or 11 Madison Park ok fine, wear the Chanel bag, but if you're just getting a patio beer in some strip mall or going to MacDonald's, evening wearing Chanel or any luxury bag is way OTT. I've known people who have had leather jackets and MacBooks stolen at the gym (their locks were cut) so it's not even that safe.

She makes the worst bag investments in terms of appreciating value/ resale value. Gucci is a typical flex brand which always struggles to present a luxe image in the way of Chanel and dior, it’s just a bit tacky but maybe they’ll have their moment again. Their bags loose value really quickly, same as YSL and she has so many damn lulu bags. Both bags have lost their appeal, every man and his dog has a fake ysl/ Gucci, the aspiration value is non-existent. She just is so boring and basic with everything she does. She would never buy bags and clothes/shoes from brands that are up and coming that aren’t as flashy but are more desirable to the fashion crowd, she just wants the labels and basic ‘fast fashion’ IT bags

Worried people won’t know you can afford LV?? Then make sure your outfit says so ie belt, bag 😂😂😂 How desperate can a logo bleep be?

I think wearing Chanel or Hermes to the supermarket etc is fine if you live in a nice part of London or Manchester (say) where so many of the women are doing it and they own nothing cheaper than a Chanel. You don’t stand out. But for Amie to carry luxe bags to go grocery shopping (for gods sake, it’s only Costco as well and not Waitrose), else to the jab centre in a small town is just laughable and makes her look like a fool. Her desire to ‘look rich’ when it’s not necessary or normal in the surroundings she’s in is pathetic.

One of you lovely Tattlers shared this channel a little while ago and I've been watching it ever since. I loved this video where she honestly explained how she has lost over 10k on just a few items.. I wonder if Amie has ever set down and calculated this for herself as I would hope that the number would make her think twice about her next purchase

For someone who’s supposed to be smart and financially savvy, the amount of money Amie’s flushed away by selling soon after purchasing indicates she’s NOT SMART AT ALL. All the videos around investment bags are nothing but an affirmation that she desperately needs to justify her continued purchases. Eileen’s smart enough to realise that any money you spend now means an extra day you have to keep working, whereas Amie can only do the brain dead thing and that’s to keep shopping.
Amie’s latest video about how to make cheap look expensive is pure BS. First - she promotes fast fashion and for someone who was preaching about sustainability a week ago, she couldn’t have changed her tune any quicker. She also fails to consider the slave labour involved in fast fashion ie why do you think the skirt’s only £10?! It’s one thing to not have any ideas or USP but to not even stand by what she said just a week ago is incredibly telling about the lengths she’ll goto to pimp herself to the highest bidder. I’m just waiting for her to make some preachy video about anti-Asian hate or BLM because I’ll absolutely tear her apart. If she pretends to preach about the planet only to do the opposite afterwards, I’d question her credibility. She’s got ZERO credibility as far as I can tell.

I don't think the objective is being smart.
ATM, there's a new trend amongst the luxury influencers that only care about the logos (like 99% of them), buy mini-bags since they're waaay less expensive yet they still have the logo on it. This is why the bag size for this lot has shrunken in the past 2-3 years.
The objective here is the ability to tote about a luxury brand for a fraction of the price.

At least in Chanel's case they have pivoted from targeting young well to do professional women to the instagrammer market where looks trump practicality. I've been eyeing a Chanel GST, which has been discontinued since 2010 I believe? (don't quote me on that, but I know it is discontinued). It is a full caviar leather tote bag, the same amount of leather material can make at least 2 Chanel flap bags, and cost around $3k-$4k AUD in the second hand market. When it was still produced it was around $5000 I believe. You can argue that the trend now is about the small bags, but bigger bags in general are much more practical. I think the luxury label these days are just glorified fast fashion, because despite the price, they engage in some horrible labour practices and terrible environmental impact.

So just to talk about personal preferences: I've been eyeing a LV Vavin PM bag and also LV Girolata (not sure if it's still being sold, may have been discontinued). I prefer LV because I don't like heavy leather bags with heavy chains and LV canvas is light. I also love the YSL envelope bags (again also light weight) for evening wear. I think crossbody bag like YSL envelope is the smallest I would personally go for - if it can't fit keys, a small wallet and an iPhone and some lipstick, what is the point of buying a bag? The micro and mini bags are so useless - unless you're like Meghan Markle and your handlers are carrying your essentials.

For me, I'd set a limit on the money I'd spend on buying bags at the start - like a few thousand dollars. And then buy 1 to 2 items per year max on special occasions like celebrating a promotion or something. That way, you control your impulses, make sure you only buy items you love 110%, you do your research into what fits into your life, etc...Unless you have Kardashian type money or inherited lots of money, most luxury items are big purchases for professional women.

I didn’t watch her new video, only her Instagram stories and I came here to say she didn’t disappoint with her hair, ramen style is back 😂
But for sure now I have to watch the video 😂

God, this looks exactly the same as all her outfits from the past three years. Why is she buying the same stuff??? I just want to shake her and get her to snap out of it!

Dont bother following her styling advice because that camel coat is top big! Doesnt fit on the shoulders! And who wears a silk strappy cami under a hot winter camel coat? And why is she talking buying coats in June?

I find it hilarious that she keeps buying junior/young adult fast fashion pieces over and over despite trying to appear more luxe. Like come on... at least Inthefrow and Tamara Kalinic buy designer ready to wear items to go along with their designer accessories!

Oh, don't get me wrong. I'll never buy one of these mini-bags, as you say they are not practical. I'm just saying what the luxury influencers are doing for awhile now, they're buying mini-bags since they're much cheaper.

CHANEL has shifted to the instagram influencer, but they'll be reducing production and establishing waitlists to emulate Hermés as weçç. I don't think they'll succeed, as they don't have a strong designer ATM.

Regardless, I can't care any less for CHANEL. The brand's history and what they've done in recent times is not something I want to be associated with. It's good too, as they leave the "rest" of the brands alone and not subject to hype.
