She must stick out like a sore thumb in suburban Birmingham walking round Tesco like some celebrity.
Surely buying bags at this rate means nothing is special? You’re probably never satisfied or happy with a new purchase?

Actually it’s three lux bags in a week - sorry, my mistake. But yes, she did buy another neverfull as well as an LV small cross body AND a senreve small cross body though I don’t consider senreve lux. Didn’t she say - when she sold some of her bags recently - that she did it as there was no space in the house? So why is she buying even more bags?! I’m guessing that was a lie. She sold them because she needed the cash to buy new handbags!! bikey Amie.
I'm sure she couldn't resist because they were JUST PAH-FACT and the PRETTIEST THINGS and she APP-solutely loves them.

God, can you imagine the reason you stop buying luxury bags is because you've run out of room in your giant house? Except "stop buying" actually means "buy 3 more".

I am a fan of large straps and I buy those often (from other brands), plus the chevron pattern is one of my favourites...

But getting a large strap for that small Senreve... I laughed. WHY? It's already too small!

I’m sure she stands out but for the wrong reasons. Not only does she look ridiculous with her designer bags but the birthday cake face and styled hair will make her look even more of an oddball. I don’t think she’s really into (as in REALLY like) most of her bags. She buys on a whim and I don’t think she considers their practicality or how much use she’ll get. I mean - look at the IG comments re: the white Chanel. She’s now asking how she should look after it AFTER buying the bag. Surely you consider this before buying? I don’t think we’ll have to wait long for her next bag sale.

I don’t think Amie is embarrassed about anything that brings the cash in. If you watch all her money related, business related videos and Q&A videos she clearly comes across as money minded. She looks utterly ridiculous in most of her videos and I am embarrassed for her. I feel that off camera she truly doesn’t enjoy anything. It’s just buy bags , buy clothes, show them on videos faking the over excitement and then back to buying more things. I really wonder if she even takes a moment to truly appreciate anything she owns.
I don't think there is anything inherently wrong with being entrepreneurial and wanting to be wealthy. But like many who aptly pointed out, she is only interested in the display of wealth and the look of success rather than actually build something that will sustain it. In one of my previous work where I had to deal with a lot of wealthy people - multi-millionaires and billionaires, they are extremely aware of how they spend their money. All of them closely scrutinise their invoice and query and bargain their way out of any expense they don't want to pay. Their idea of money is to maximise the potential and return of every cent their spend. They do dress nicely and own things that most of us can only dream of, but nothing head to toe designer with very obvious logos, one of my former client is a multi-millionaire who proudly proclaimed that he got his second-hand Audi SUV for a bargain, even though he could easily afford a new one with the money he finds between his sofa cushions. They more likely outsource work to other people to maximise their time, so the idea of DYI home renovations with Ikea furniture would be laughable to them.

Despite calling herself an entrepreneur, I do not see that kind of money awareness in her and her calling anything she buys as a bargain is laughable to me. I feel like she just buys the items, does it for the camera, and then immediately returns them. I don't see how her Youtube business model - if you can even call it that is even remotely sustainable. Moreover, I am not a psychologist, but like many who pointed it out, she might have a serious case of shopping addiction. I don't think mental health is a laughing matter, but she needs to take the money she spends on bags and get herself to therapy and deal with some real issues.

“birthday cake face” is going up there with “ramen hair” 🤣🤣🤣

I just can't imagine living such a shallow, empty life. What about hobbies/culture/cooking/travel/art/LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE that make one's life so much more fulfilled? The only places she's gone to at this point are Vegas and LA (multiple times) - a reflection of the type of person she is - all about appearances and spending money. Not to mention she always goes to Heathrow hours and hours before her flight JUST TO GIVE HERSELF ENOUGH TIME TO SHOP.

Now that duty free shopping isn’t available at LHR anymore what will Amie do?? Double whammy for her if she doesn’t qualify for lounge access either. But we’ll never hear about that because that would just show she’s not lux so sshhhhhh, she’d prefer to keep that really quiet as she’s desperate to keep everyone thinking she’s oh so rich.

OMG another luxury haul. At this point, I'm convinced Amie is getting a lot of freebies. Otherwise her youtube lifestyle is not sustainable.

I also think none of her bags are practical, I can't imagine carrying a Chanel flap to the groceries, running errands, or do anything that requires you to constantly take things in and out of your bag. She buys bags like she is constantly going to black tie events or weddings, which accounts for so little in people's everyday lives. I started watching her because I wanted advice in investing in a good designer piece that is also practical but everything she recommends for work and every day seems to be tote bags. I dislike tote bags because most of the designer ones I've seen are not secure, no zippers or sturdy clasps, also most of them don't have compartments to store your stuff so you have to buy a bag organizer to carry your things - which seem ridiculous to me, and they collapse if you don't have things in them. I guess those Senreve bags are used for work, but I think they are so weird.

Yup, OMG. Simply awful video though. She’s flogging granny fashion. The dress is frumpy, shoes and handbag are absolutely gran-like, the belt is cheap looking and my Brabantia bin bag looks better than the AH tote. This isn’t luxury dressing, I wouldn’t wear this stuff even if my corpse were being dressed for my funeral.

Agree, she buys Chanel bags as if she’s got heaps of fancy places to goto but she doesn’t even have friends to have lunch with. In one of her videos she talks about entertaining people at her home this summer. Yeah right, the only people attending will be the two moms and Dan. She has no friends.
I dislike totes as well. They’re not secure to begin with and secondly, everyone can see what’s in your bag - I hate that. Every single senreve bag I’ve seen is dog tit weird. The influencers with any sense of self worth don’t bother carrying it, even if they’re gifted, money isn’t that important to them that they’d change themselves to earn a few extra quid. Amie just goes where the money is.

She said it was sponsored by Farfetch I bet most of it was paid for by the voucher they gave her but still it is nuts , she just bought a few other new bags, why does she need more!!??

I got moved to permanent work at home in the last few months and I foolishly bought a couple new bags during black Friday sales thinking maybe this summer I'd be back at work in person and have somewhere to wear them. I was wrong! The fact that I haven't gone anywhere except the grocery store in the last year really has me questioning the need for my bag collection and nothing I own is even anywhere in the league of Amie's bags. Yeah handbags make me happy but it isn't worth it if something isn't getting used and you don't get to actually enjoy it.

Her materialism is gross. Even if I had the *burden* of regular shopping vouchers, I'd probably get bored of it after a while and would just want to slow down and enjoy the things I have instead of constantly adding more, more, more. And if I had to choose, I'd blow it on something truly extraordinary or luxurious, not a bunch of cheap polyester skirts and camis. Isn't that what Farfetch is for? So that you can get your hands on a hard-to-find item that's out of stock everywhere except for a boutique in Saudi Arabia? I dunno. The world of fashion is literally at her fingertips and all she can manage to come up with are basic-ass pumps that look like they're from Ann Taylor.

the only friends outside of their mothers seem to be Dan’s friends (or colleagues likely)- could you imagine guys chilling out in this:

i would be so embarrassed to have a wall of Chanel and Duchess of Cambridge caliber coats in my closet but have a such a cheap looking tacky house 🥱🤭

i think this is one of the giveaways that she has no other interests or things going on in her life other than playing dress ups and shopping (i would say work, except her full time job is now youtube from memory...so playing dress ups and shopping)

Some really rich people wear Chanels casually - like JLo or the Kardashians. JLo even carries a $100,000 Hermes bag to the gym. I guess it depends on the neighbourhood you live in as well. But Amie isn't that rich, only a pretender.

It’s sad when someone pretends they’re something that they’re not. They do this when they don’t love themselves or the life that they have. It wouldn’t surprise me if Amie’s like Evan Rachel Woods’s character in Black Mirror, where she’s obsessed with tracking the number of likes on her social media posts.

I find her vlogs very unrealistic. Who really has the money for those bags and clothes? I didn’t know she’d moved to Birmingham. What was the reason for moving does anyone know please.

A few years ago, I really liked her and her channel. I like how it seemed she had worked hard in her career to be earning enough to buy the things she likes. Later on, it seemed to me that she would just buy anything, and buy a lot! I don't believe she is using every bag she buys and I don't see how she can give a fair review for her viewers. It also seems like she rushes into purchases without any thought or research - I remember one time, she bought a Gucci wallet on chain, opened it up and was so surprised that it had a mirror inside. I would be more interested if she took the time to consider her purchases and do an in-depth review, something that will be more useful rather than the usual handbag hauls every week, or change up her content.

The way she films her try ons grate me so much: its the combination of the angelina jolie leg, excessive toe cleavage, pacing back and forth an excessive amount of times just to show us a single outfit, showing her jean button up close (wow so unusual! a jean button!), her weird grin while checking herself out.... its all just so cringeworthy
