What the heck is this?
The coffee table is too big for the area so she uses it the other way round, but there’s not even room for people’s legs when they sit down. Awful
She’s an idiot. Buys and/or places stuff without thinking whether they go with rest of pieces etc. Her home decor is so f%#ked up. No theme, just random pieces put together. I don’t know who the numpties are that think her interiors are beautiful.

I am impressed that she's made their new house feel so cramped. 😂

Is anyone going to mention that her brother does not sound posh at all? Another example of her putting on an accent

I think this is one of the reasons she has managed to stay popular enough. Like, much like the bland wardrobe, there's not much personality to it, but there's a certain balance between pinterest pinnable and blandness that resonates with many casuals.

All those skinny jeans, pointy shoes, chanel boys, over teh knee boots... they go well with that white modern clean lines aesthetic so many bloggers have nowadays. At least ONE thing will be that fanbase's thing. And since she repeats her content, that ONE thing keeps that specific fanbase sort of interested.

I may not be explaining myself all that well. In the height of pinterest popularity, people pinned everything that barely stimulated them. I feel the same when I watch her videos, like that barely stimulation over something that you vaguely want.

After a month of watching her videos, I'm "graduating" from her channel, but there's many people who like boring and consistence and safe and repetition, they're not interesting in moving forward and she provides that.

Is her new house in London? If so that's impressive looks pretty spacious! What does she do for a career? Sorry if this has all been mentioned before x

It’s in/near Birmingham! She used to be a marketing manager for luxury hotels and then in finance (I think it was finance) but now she and Dan have their fingers in lots of pies. I think the main thing is their design and development agency but Amie is also behind ClassFit. I seem to remember a Christmas tree business in the past too...

Oh I see - wow I never expected her to move from London to Birmingham! The fact they own 2 flats in London as well as this new house is quite something, their businesses must be pretty lucrative!

I believe one was Dan's flat from his "bachelor" days, he seemed to have a sensible head when it came to his finances.
Their financial goals seem to be polar opposites and it baffles me how it/their relationship works. Like how does Dan really feel about his wife constantly dumping £Ks on dumb trend purchases that could otherwise be invested...

I was watching one of her old videos on how she is able to afford 50k in bags and she states that for her bags and shoes are the main investment followed by property and funds. And for Dan it’s gadgets or something similar. She is crazy 😂

Amie can't be so stupid as to believe her bag-buying habit is the same as investing in property or funds. In fact, I remember an old, old video where she says she does not conflate the two.

As for Dan and how he feels about her spending... He probably just lets her be, as long as she's spending her own money. I know this is a huge generalization (but hey my therapist said it, not me), but men can often be better at accepting things about their partner that they don't necessarily share, at least until it starts seriously affecting the relationship. If Amie's spending doesn't get them into debt and doesn't affect their other expenses, he's probably fine with it. And I know I would be offended if my partner started getting on my case about what I do with my own money.

At least Dan's gadgets are useful. It seems Dan was the one extensively renovating their house by himself. Hiring someone to do the job will be even more expensive since labour is very $$$$ in Western countries. Most people in my country do house renovations themselves so most people who own houses have extensive list of gadgets out of necessity.

Not sure about Amie's bags or how much she's actually making from Youtube.

First things first, LOVING the birthday possum 😂 😂.

I didn't intend to imply that Dan should be financially controlling 😅. All the partnerships in my life (parents, relatives, mine and a lot of my friends), the partners are on the same page when it comes to financial responsibilities like savings, investments, "fun" money, etc whether their bank acc.s are joined or separate.

Haha, if only we could all live our lives like birthday possum. :p

Dan seems like a pretty practical guy, so I don't see him being financially controlling either. I could see them seeing Amie's channel as a business, so the constant spending (and consequently, selling and returning) of bags is treated as a business expense. I'm actually curious if Amie is able to write off her bags on her taxes? Is that allowed in the UK? I mean, we know she doesn't ever go anywhere, so they don't really really count as "personal use" :sneaky:

New video’s just gone up re 1st impressions of bags she bought recently, said she couldn’t touch on durability as she’s not had them long enough. Geez, isn’t this always the case with almost all of her bags?? She sells them barely six months after purchasing. What a doofus. She should just be honest and admit she’ll never be able to comment on durability.

Why on Earth is she buying more bags? Is she turning into Lydia (EMG) and wandering her house carrying her bag from room to room? 🤨
Amie buys trend pieces, so she has to sell them within 6 months otherwise she'd be stuck with them. 😂

I'd love for her to try and write them off as a business expense, if she could she'd be on a Chanel spree... 😂😂.
Yeah, I watched the bf/husband guesses prices/rates bags videos recently- he said he likes "bang for buck" and "more bag for your money, carry more stuff", seems like he puts some thought into his purchases rather than just buying it because he can.

Clicked on her new video and I'm annoyed by her statement "it's a very similar colour to my Chanel bag..." 😂 Eh?! No, it really isn't.

Same bag but in daylight? Maybe? 🤨

Tory Burch bags aren't cheap. Of course they're a fraction of the price of Chanel but $500 USD for a bag is still quite a bit of money. I consider it to be a "treat" or "splurge" for the average woman.

Agree. I have some Chanel and Hermes but also have a couple of TB. I love their Perry totes (wanted a tote the size of an LV never full but hated the fact they were everywhere), the quality of their leather is pretty good and my bags still look good after having been used so much and thrown around.

I can see Amie selling the Mulberry mini Alexa soon as turn lock requires abit of effort to close. She made it sound like it was still ok as the magnetic snaps still help but you can tell she’s not very happy with the bag. If she’d taken the time to check it out at a shop first then maybe she wouldn’t have this problem? As usual, she rushes into things. When buying a more expensive bag I always check it out instore first and assess if it will work for me ie does the zipper work well, how heavy is the bag, is the strap comfortable (does it cut into my skin) etc. That bag wasn’t cheap either at c£900. While Dan may be supportive of her love of fashion, even he must notice that there is no longevity to many of her bags and the amount of money she must lose upon selling is such a waste.

I don't get the ALUNNA bag. It's clearly a casual bag, yet it's so small. the opening is also awkward, very small. It reminds me of the mini backpacks some friends of mine used to have on high-school roadtrips. Useless, just for show.

I don't get SENREVE in general. It has a backpack lunchbox look into it. I mean it's not bad or anything, I just don't get it why it's so popular. It does have gorgeous colours though.

Would love for someone to do a parody of her try on hauls :ROFLMAO:
I'll help. wear and tear = "UEEE AND TEEE."
