Exactly this! Having bariatric surgery saved my life but I gave it my absolute all and committed to changing my lifestyle long before the actual surgery... She seems so defeatist like she cannot possibly put some effort in unless she is getting the surgery. As soon as she has it and is past the year mark, that mindset and attitude will get her nowhere!
Just caught up on her stories and it's scheduled for end of Oct, so not that long to stick with it and capitalise on her loss, but I bet she won't and I hope she won't pass the criteria because she doesn't deserve it. You just know she'll be one of those idiots who will blend chocolate and a McDonald's because she can't help herself. 😡

Honestly she drives me insane. I had to unfollow. She takes no responsibility or accountability for her weight. Her calorie counting was always a joke, an Easter egg for breakfast followed by a kfc for dinner, but it’s ok because she can fit it in to her calories??

I personally feel like she thinks WLS is a miracle fix and she’ll have the surgery and that’s all she needs to do. “I thought I’d be slim by Christmas” she just doesn’t deserve the surgery, just because she works at the hospital she thinks she’s a priority?

There’s a million bigger problems in the world right now.

So, as soon as she was told she couldn't have her surgery until October, she went off plan for 2 days 😂 Which let's face it would have been longer had it not been brought forward again. I just can't cope with her.

She's finally had her surgery and lost about 2.5 stone in the lead up to it with a liver reducing diet, so fair play to her, but seeing as it's such a big operation, she really should have tried harder to lose the weight herself as it won't cure her mental issues with food... 🤔 I'll follow with interest, though....

She posted some box of cookies the day before her surgery saying I can't have these till Christmas but will be the first thing to pass my lips when I can. Sums it all up really 🤷🏻‍♀️ monumental waste of NHS funding and resources when there are people who are desperate to have bariatric surgery and are actually far more deserved. I give it 12 weeks till the McNuggets are out.

Her relationship with food hasn’t changed however, so once she can eat those cookies again, she will!

Surely gammon would be one of the last options if you needed to eat some meat after what her body has gone through?

No, she’s still there under the same username (charli_sw). I agree she still has such a messed up relationship with food. She’s doing brilliantly right now but it’s a slippery slope and I reckon in 5 years she’ll be back where she’s starred. She’s obsessed with food. When the novelty wears off she’ll be back having little bits she’s not allowed and it’ll snowball from there.

When I search for her account it shows ‘user not found’ and ‘no posts yet’. This is from last night. I’m not great with insta, does that mean i’m blocked perhaps?

So I had to have a stalk after not looking at her page for a while. She really really needs help. Her diet is not nutritious at all. Her calories are quite dense too. The protein shakes she really doesn't need. I can see her stretching her stomach over time to cheat the surgery which is so sad

I don’t know why she thinks that ‘chocolate binge’ mind frame is going to disappear magically
To be fair, it does pretty much disappear for the first 6-8 months, after that it's all hard work and effort. I'm more concerned that she is already eyeing up the ready meals instead of just making simple nutritious meals. She is so lazy!
