How rude! That comment obviously hit a nerve, but generally, the silly woman is obvious in denial!

Nice to know the reason she’s actually trying to diet is to get a bag once all this is over. Not her health or anything 🙄🙄🙄
Good luck to her, she'll hardly be attractive and get a bag once she eventually loses weight, not with that personality!

God knows

Oh actually I remember.. I did call her out for being in a hot tub with someone and she replied saying they spend all day at work together so it was fine, or something along those lines...
That hot tub carry on annoyed me... your not missing anything just her eating rit constantly!

The surgery is booked......
I just went on her profile and don't see a new update?

This woman is ridiculous and seems to have zero self control, eating like a pig at any given opportunity, blaming everything and everyone! 😡 She should count herself lucky she's getting surgery as there's so many women who would be grateful of it as they are genuinely struggling.

I think she is going to struggle massively with WLS. She always has an excuse of work or life stress for how she eats. She clearly doesn't have the correct mindset or drive to make it work

How much do you normally have to lose to have the surgery? They have strong faith that she'll lose a good few stone by the date of surgery, but I don't! She's had more day 1's than I've had Greggs pasties! 🙄 😂

I had mine privatley so didn't have to go through the NHS weight management but still had to have a pretty rigorous assesment by a psychologist and dietician. I would be surprised if she manages to stick to the 2 week pre op diet which is actually for her own safety. She failed every target the bariatric team set her weight loss wise to prove to them she was serious about committing to changing her life. I completely think she got bumped up the list and special allowances for being a nurse where she is having it. I give it a few months before she's posting KFC and saying but she only had 2 bites

I know from working for the nhs doing bariatric pre assessments for surgery , if she can’t do the liver reducing diet for the ten days prior or hit the required target weight by the day of surgery , anaesthetics have the right to cancel it as she will be too much of a high risk for a general anaesthetic

it was on a story not grid post, she has a liquid diet now I think? I hope the op goes well with no complications, but, I also really hope she seeks psychological help for the food addiction otherwise it’s all for nothing

100% - if the relationship with food is not fixed, the surgery isn’t going to solve anything

Her surgery was cancelled due to Covid. I do feel for her but I seriously hope she uses this time to get in the best shape possible for surgery and reduce the risks, not to mention make things easier for her surgeon and anaesthetist. I give it a week before she is back to eating KFC at her desk and an entire box of biscuits and calling it stress

Why give her a date knowing it was unlikely to go ahead? She SHOULD use this time to capitalise on the weight she's lost and shed the rest of it, but I don't think she will and it'll be "Day 1" in a few weeks AGAIN because the mental battle wouldn't have been solved.... 🙄

When she said she was disappointed because she thought she would be a lot lighter by Christmas. Like...you still could be? You’ve already lost nearly two stone so just keep going. I understand fully what it’s like to battle with your weight and yo-yo but she really doesn’t seem to understand that this isn’t going to be some overnight magic bullet where she’s suddenly thin.

Exactly this! Having bariatric surgery saved my life but I gave it my absolute all and committed to changing my lifestyle long before the actual surgery... She seems so defeatist like she cannot possibly put some effort in unless she is getting the surgery. As soon as she has it and is past the year mark, that mindset and attitude will get her nowhere!
