Do you think Nancy wears a wig?
That’s what I thought. It’s sad really. Faye and Danny with their Turkey teeth, she botoxed and filled to the brim and Nancy with her wig. I’m glad I’m not ‘famous’ with the pressure they must feel to look ‘good’ to do that to themselves!

I don’t understand how Faye was praised for putting a satay sauce with roast chicken and roasties. I think if you’re crap they give you an easier ride. If you show knowledge and promise they expect more and are more critical 🤷🏼‍♀️

Cookies and ice cream was a bit bloody basic too

This floating islands challenge is a bit sus. Who the hell would know how to do any of it?

ducks sake Faye and Danny - 'never made a dessert before' but for some reason know how to do it. This programme is ridiculous. Do they think we are all mugs?

Poached meringue is a new one to me.
And has Faye used cocoa powder for makeup 🙃

Is Danny messing? How has he never used an electric whisk.

Why do they have to announce Paul Chuckle with his age. 74 year old Paul Chuckle !! What the bloody hell is that for? They didn’t do it for the other contestants!! It’s ageist.😡😡

I have some 🍵 about this season although don’t get too excited! My neighbour’s daughter is a researcher for the show. She was going out to get some food for lunch and she asked Chris Eubanks if he wanted anything. His reply “6 coconuts!”. She was taken aback as where it is filmed it was not somewhere to buy such items. Another day Chris went out for lunch and never returned.

If I find out anymore I’ll let you know. The daughter is currently casting for Young Masterchef for BBCThree and despite 9 applications she‘s been advised by the BBC they need more applicants such as a northern builder bloke who can cook! No wonder all those reality programmes are rigged!

That really angered me too

What a load of tit ! There is no way that you have never made a dessert and then poach a perfect meringue and make a caramel from scratch . I've switched it off its clear they have all made this before or elements of it with someone to guide them. Not a skills test then is it! Danny made it so obvious .

Me too, switched off. It's a joke

Didn’t the pandemic end a year ago. Why couldn’t they get them out of the studio and into professional kitchen! I get bored when it’s all studio based. I also like the mass catering challenges. I know not everyone likes them though

They get help. Chefs/mentors help them come up with recipes. Pretty sure in earlier series that wasn't the case because alot of them were genuinely rit

Was better then though! like 95% of normal people would be on there with no prep and then get a passion for it and get better. What's the point in watching if they all have practiced in advance ? In my opinion only obviously.

Is that Faye from Love island?! Haven’t seen her since the show, she’s lost her lips I see
And some hair from.the bald patches. Extensions?

I only know they get help on the celeb versions I don't know about the amateurs but then I wouldn't be surprised.

I noticed the bald patches too . The botox ages her so much

Gregggg and John are so much more sycophantic in the Celeb version too.
'Mate that's astonishing' when they are served up perfectly ordinary stuff.

Poor old Faye had those receding temples on Love Island. 26? 😲 . Extensions and then tightly tied back hair can't help. I don't even want her to be on there - she should've been slung off LI for her behaviour.

I just cringe my way through the celeb masterchef. I think the exact same with the judges. And the way the celebs lap it up and get tears in their eyes at the feedback.

Just googled Greg Wallace and I can’t believe how different he looked when he was younger!

Finding out they get mentors who coach them ruined it for me

Still watching it though 😁
I did notice Faye had the name of part of her first dish she made on a piece of paper next to where she was working. I did think it was odd seeing as it was the Under the Cloche challenge where nothing is 'planned'!
So interesting to see your post here!
