I'm a Cassie fan and I agreeIt is SUCH an weird color![]()
So is Cassie funded by bank of mum and dad or how is she able to buy so much designer stuff? Or does she have another job besides "influencing"?That their parents have money doesn’t meant she has the same amount. And I think now she living in ny her parents won’t buy her more things than when she lived in london. They help her? For sure! I would also if I could.
she must have a trust fund, seeing her upbringing. but she used to have an office job, that I think she had a good salary in. she claimed that the influencing money was surpassing her office job salary so she was able to convert to influencing. So is Cassie funded by bank of mum and dad or how is she able to buy so much designer stuff? Cassie, like all of those other IG/YT girlies, "buy" 99% of their designer "purchases" via vouchers. If not via voucher, they push the item on socials, tagging the hell out of the brand which typically ends with them getting their $ back OR getting some paid partnership or voucher to cover what they spend + much more. Nii is paying the rent on that NYC flat via his company (read: his company is paying the rent and writing off as a business expense) and, of course, Cassie - like so many other people in the lux influencer space - have the luxury of knowing they don't have to save a dime because they will inherit their parents wealth eventually. So is Cassie funded by bank of mum and dad or how is she able to buy so much designer stuff? Thanks for this insight. Makes a lot of sense although i'm slightly dubious about how appropriate she is for specific luxury brand sponsorship other than potentially multi-brand luxury retailers giving vouchers..her social media reach doesn't seem up there enough for the big names to sponsor her..but if she gets a myteresa voucher for e.g. she probably doesn't mind! I do wonder how much she nets if so much of her $ gets spent on luxury bags and clothing though. I guess as you say if her rent is covered, it's play money (although i hope she saves some rather than just rely on inheritance..)Cassie, like all of those other IG/YT girlies, "buy" 99% of their designer "purchases" via vouchers. Years ago she had an office job, which she had for 5+ years until they made her position redundant. Not exactly killing it professionally. Then she went FT influencer.
Short answer: I don't think her parents are giving her any $, but her mother started and continues to buy her lux pieces AND Cassie knows the windfall that will come as the only child of two people doing relatively well.
Nii's company is paying for the rental. It's called "a corporate rental". It's a "company expense".You can write off your home office but not your whole house.
Nii is the co-founder and CEO of that company and it's basically just a small human resources provider business that has 11-50 employees. So I highly doubt the NYC rent is a "business expense" on the small business he co-founded.Cassie, like all of those other IG/YT girlies, "buy" 99% of their designer "purchases" via vouchers. Cassie's father is a well respected engineer who was working for BP for many decades as a top management figure. Cassie got a job at BP because of her father/connections. Her mother is a headteacher at state funded schools in South Yorkshire. I think her dad recently retired from his high profile BP job hence the family started a new business called thorpe-bedu.com specialising in luxury communities.does anyone know what her parents do? curious how they got to thus amount of money coming from humble backgrounds. Her mom was buying designer in her 20s already
The flames shirt is a literal lol moment. That shirt, the nails, the multi-color makeup and God only knows how she'll style it all ... Cassie is just such an attention seeker, good or bad.Ok, I like Cassie.
Recently, ok ok, the last year or so, her style and taste, are for me, mostly hit and miss.
But I like her. So I sorta feel bad saying this out loud.
This Palm Angels shirt is an actual 'What the actual duck' moment.
It really is the blingy version of the Guy Fieri shirt.
Big yuck.
Just 'cos it's on sale doesn't mean you should buy it.

Sorry girl.
Yeah the dress looked nice in those neutral colors. Not that bubblegum pink/red/whatever it is.The flames shirt is a literal lol moment. That shirt, the nails, the multi-color makeup and God only knows how she'll style it all ... Cassie is just such an attention seeker, good or bad.
I also lol'ed when she tried on that dress for the September wedding and described it as "elegant". I spit my water out.
Not much. A belt, those weird wedges, probably a bloody pillow and blanket. It’s laughable. NYC has five stores with loads of product for locals and non-locals. It’s not as hard to get what you want, but still most have to show loyalty. Just not anyone w an online presence in the lux space. They do a search on everyone who makes an appointment. The Hermes Kelly Elan purse is going to be offered to her. She said it was coming to the US in a small quantity but it sounds like once it comes in she can buy one at her home store. How little did she spend to get her mini Kelly and burgundy birkin 25
You didn’t keep any of your Hermes bags? Not even your first wish bag?Not much. A belt, those weird wedges, probably a bloody pillow and blanket. It’s laughable. My theory re Cassie is that she shops w Alyssa Lenore’s SA. I have a theory about AL and how she got her offers quickly with v little spend or time shopping w the brand, but I won’t share that here. I don’t need the drama.
Needless to say, I sold all of my Hermes bags. I’d rather die than walk around w bags that these idiots are wearing. It’s embarrassing at this point. Not even five years ago, Hermes was an aspirational brand, the products felt special. Now it feels like high street and a complete ripoff.
I did. It's as you said. The bimbos, seeing them and thinking they're fake, worrying about my safety when carrying them now that everyone and their mother knows the brand, knows the resale price, etc. I never reached for them anymore. I still pop into store for a chat with my SA and grab a shawl or whatever, but I will never carry a Hermes bag again. You didn’t keep any of your Hermes bags? Not even your first wish bag?I was working hard to get a Kelly 28 from my wishlist for years (and years and years) but last year, I lost that yearning for the bag. The influencer world is saturated with Hermes and it’s too much. Also, so many bimbos flaunting their fakes turned my stomach.
Once I secured my Carrie purple Fendi, that was a wrap for me on dream bags. I just don’t have the same love of bags anymore. Give me a sporty crossbody and let’s go!![]()
Respect. I hope you made coin on the resale. People always talk about Hermes (and Chanel) resale value but I’m not seeing the offers that I would have expected from the big resellers (Fashionphile, The Real Real, Rebag).I did. It's as you said.
