Because even Caroline knows her ideas aren’t actually amazing and unique... ding ding! She’s so smug though.patents!
I thought that post was for the derm who crossed swords woth her recently ..no ..?I'm sure she does know - she just wants to present her as an attention-seeker who wants to "jump on [her] tails" (lol at that) rather than a serious beauty writer to discourage people from finding out what she's about, and because she doesn't want people seeing through her bullshit and ultimately buying less products! Gotta protect her $$$!
Oh my god.... The shame! Selling more liesI came out of the shadows earlier and commented here but it appears to have disappeared?! it was in reference to her old style of blogging and new style - I used links, would this have got my post deleted?
Anyway, Ava just posted this and I noticed her thumb nail looked funny. Just zoomed in and someone needs to pay more attention to their facetunes, whole hand looks mangled:
I was finding the how to videos funny... i mean in this day n age of you dont know how to wash your fave n use products in order...So happy to see people finally breaking free from the CH buzz! It’s truly crazy and over the top. I’m trying to establish a decent skincare routine at the moment because of various skin issues and hair loss, I want to have nice skin if I’m going to be bald! But I’m mainly using Neutrogena/FaceTheory products and I’m only adding in one new product every 2/3 weeks so I can see how my skin reacts to something new. There’s no way I’m going to justify these high end products that CH pushes or the monthly tret subscriptions. It’s just all too over the top.
No I've not. I've seen it and presumed it was for oily acneic skin so never looked at itHave you tried The Ordinary's Salicylic mud mask? (Not after the red peel mask obvs). Also, gives really good results.
I'm all for anti ageing, will definitely look into that!Wow I’m so glad to have found this thread!
I’m in her fb group and honestly the brown-nosing to her, and that boy who moderates it, is just unbearable.
There’s constant posts from people who are trying to justify their next £70-£100 product purchase and it kind of makes me sad because there’s always a hot new product with a buzz that people want to try and you’ll never really ‘have it all’..
Also it feels like if you can’t buy at least 2-3 high end items/also have a £30month dermatica subscription then your skincare routine just isn’t good enough..
I sort of feel like I’m cheating the system because I buy my tretinoin (one of the most proven anti ageing and anti acne ingredients) from pharmacies when in Spain for £15 and my routine is mostly Cerave/ordinary, and I only buy new things when my current products run out. E.g when I finish my big tube of moisturiser I can choose an exciting new one!
Soz for the essay it just really bothers me how many people get sucked into the constant hype of new products especially when they can barely afford it!
It was also discovered that his old Religion teacher was on the group.. And identified him through after reading his post!
