Come on be strong, I bet you have a cupboard full of skincare already and no one needs duplicate after duplicate or loads of backup. The stuff she is shilling is all stuff she got special offer after falling off the back of a lorry.

The stories of women who had perfectly fine skin until they read Caroline's blog/ Facebook page and then ruined it by throwing too many products at it are many. It's not a rare occurrence.

I am one of them. I know I can't wholly blame her for what I've done to my skin, she didn't hold a gun to my head, but I admit to being influenced. Isn't this her job title? Influencer. This was in 2014 by the way, I've learned the insidious ways of the influencers since then. I can't believe I actually believed they'd recommend stuff they actually liked and worked for them. How silly of me.

People are now posting pictures of their acid burns around their eyes on the Freaks group today! One lady made a post about hers and a few people have now commented saying they’ve had the same thing from using “actives” ... Lovely! How long we betting until CH gets sued? Come on! Please don’t be long!
Maybe it’s because on the bottles of these products they say don’t use them near eyes, and CH says they have to say that for legal reasons and it’s fine to use them around eyes!

To be fair, regardless of what CH says, if a grown adult chooses to put something called an acid right next to their eyes, I struggle to sympathise.

I also think CH is ridiculous for telling people it’s fine to do it, and she deserves to get shitty comments on it. But getting sued is a bit of a stretch.

Why are so many people jumping on the bandwagon with "she can't tell us whats in them or other retailers will undercut".
Why does she not reveal whats in the kit, and keep the price point a secret?
Perhaps is it because she hasn't been able to fully secure all the brands ahead of time? There always seems to be "one that confirms last minute ". The kits aren't shipping until 11th November because they don't actually have all the products yet. Its got nothing to do with fear of being undercut, its fear of a brand pulling out.

About 200 people then piled on her calling her names, saying she didn't speak fot them, accusing her of showing white privilege, then in sub comments everyone had a fight with each other.
It was pathetic, lots of grown adults showing off the insults they could come up with for the likes.
The original post was a bit tone deaf, but it did not deserve the vitriol she received.

K Beauty is not just one category of products, saying all products from a specific country are part of "a trend" is just ignorant and borderline racist tbh. There are plenty of trendy products from the states, would she call US Beauty a trend? Several British white women have expressed similar sentiments in the past, but people just looked right past it.

What I can’t understand is why she’s put Dermalogica vitamin C serum in there at £125 () when she’s been banging on about how good the Summer Fridays one at £57 is. Actually, I do know, so she can justify asking crazy prices for the kits. But really, who’d spend over £100 on a bloody vit c serum?!

As someone above said, how much profit has she made when she can afford to give £40k to charity. Just goes to show the crazy mark up on skincare.

On another note, just saw this on my feed from the freaks group. Cringe.

That is fucking horrible on many levels. The crass gender stereotypes, the simpering toadyness towards CH, the sheer wastefulness of spending over £500 on skincare (bet she will also buy the winter set or "manipulate" her bloke into it). Freaks is the right term. It feels like we are at the end of days at the moment.

Lindsey Kelk is another insufferable idiot who loves the sound of her own voice. Harry seems lovely though, when she can get a word in edgewise.

Bloody hell, £300 for a skincare kit. Wild.

That person on the freaks group above hit the nail on the head. This is all about whipping people into a frenzy so they have very little time to properly assess whether, one, they actually want it, and two, whether they can actually afford it. I used to be pretty bad for getting lured into the newness of skincare and would have a massive stash that i'd barely use before it expired. This year I've finally calmed down and I'm now only buying things when I need it and I'm repurchasing things that work for me rather than constantly changing things up based on marketing hype.

I've got to admit, I was tempted when I saw they were still on sale at lunch time but the only things i'm interested in is the Antonia Burrell cleansing oil and the Votary serum. I could buy them both for £111 and save myself almost £200. Will see what the brand deals are like first though!

You are absolutely right ... there will be discounts so no need to buy full price... usually the kits are followed by brand discounts or with black friday round the corner all brands will dobthe customary 15 20 %off
