I might be overthinking here but I feel like everything she says annoys me! The story re "we have to decide what you'll have for lunch". Nah. If you're at home, offer them a choice between 2 things that are easy for you to make (e.g. do you want a ham sandwich or a cheese sandwich?), that way you're controlling what they have and know they will eat but they still feel like they are involved and have input. Similarly if you're out, scan the menu until you find 2 things they'll like and let them make the choice between the 2. Too much choice is overwhelming and confusing for them at that age. Like so many posters have said, C mustn't know if he's coming or going with the lack of boundaries and mixed messages.

Something tells me she hides her stories from Barry, friends and family. I cannot comprehend anyone who loves her or cares about her letting this carry on happen! If my OH or friends made the remarks she did about her child 🤯

Right? I would be heartbroken if I saw my husband speaking about our child in this way to his 105 insta followers. To 50,000 people? I can't even imagine.

Our friends would definitely be messaging me about it too.

She either blocks friends/family or (I think more likely tbh) they know they can't say anything because of how she'd react and it would be drama and they would be called the bad guy and they know it's just not worth it. And maybe she'd take it out on C.

Ah yes, an accurate representation of Mums with Toddlers everywhere on a Monday morning;

Going out without their toddler and *checks notes* getting a tattoo.

Her content is such rubbish. Telling us to wear a hairband if your hair is in your face. About 90 stories on a pink jumper. If she didn't have her child to complain about she'd honestly have nothing

Like I'm sorry now but he's almost 4?? He's perfectly able to understand the concept of bedtime. She's either letting this happen for attention or she's totally making it up. For attention.

He has no boundaries the pair of them give into his every “need” no wonder bedtime is a disaster. They have no one to blame but herself. One minute she is treating him like an adult, the next a child. Boundaries and the word no won’t do any harm to C. He might not like it but he will get over it.

I know Caroline is a crap mam, but the child DOES seem horrid
I honestly this it’s because he is let away with everything

When? From the bits I’ve seen he sees like a very cute little fella.
I've never seen him behave badly on insta - it’s only what she’s telling us. Who knows what is leading to the bad bedtimes - but as a parent I feel I can say we’ve all been there. You just stay firm and consistent and hope it doesn’t last too long.

We’d all be horrid if we just did what we liked. She’s bleeping bonkers I’m sorry 🤣

The poor kid wasn’t born knowing how to behave. He needs to be taught that through good parenting and acceptable boundaries, neither of which he has ever experienced.

20 past 9 isn’t even that late of a bedtime. When things were bad here we often saw 1am. She had the best of the best in sleep coaches when he was young

She needs to put her phone away and not be posting to insta during bedtime. If she put down her phone, he’d be in bed by 7. He’s a good kid, she’s just an attention seeking dose.
