Lottie Tomlinson can hold her own, she's been in the public eye for a decade or so - she was employed by her brother in some capacity - I'm not sure what her actual job title was though. She's been through a tough time, losing her mother then her younger sister, and has probably bonded with Lewis through mutual grief.
If I’m remembering correctly, I’m certain that Lottie is a make-up artist and was employed as so for the 1D team.

If you know someone close to Lewis then have you told them how scared you are for Lottie?
You don’t think Lewis’s ex Laurenrosemusic and friends didn’t? You can t tell an adult what to do:: as you won’t be able to tell Lottie. She’s already having doubts; and so she should.

She’s only just turned 21, 1D ended in 2016 so she was only just 17 when the group finished, she might have been on the payroll as a “make up artist” but she was just a kid, I’d doubt she was doing any actual work!

I don’t know who his ex is and know nothing about Lottie other than she’s Louis’ sister and is now going out with Lewis!

Lauren Rose was in the papers warning Caroline that he was playing them both. Lauren was the one that Lewis sent the photos of the bedroom.

1D weren't renowned for their elaborate make up either, they weren't exactly Kiss.

I remember all the reports at the time said they had been to Bob Bob Ricard in Soho but as other posters pointed out, during the inquest Caroline’s mum said Lewis had been our drinking all day with friends. She suggested that his narrative wasn’t reliable because he was drunk and inconsistent, whereas Caroline’s account was clear. I suppose that infers that Caroline hadn’t been out drinking. Maybe she was just at home and he came back late, she waited until he fell asleep and then checked his phone 🤷🏻‍♀️ If she wasn’t drunk, her behaviour that night is perhaps even more extreme (for want of a better word). Or maybe she’d been drinking at home that evening.

Thanks, I didn’t know about that...
Just googled ‘Lauren Rose Lewis Burton’ and found this:

And another article about their argument in Ibiza (Caroline and Lewis, not Lottie) which suggests the argument may be about his ex - although seemed to be a couple of months after the ex went to the papers. These pictures are so just so sad to see.

I wouldn’t wholeheartedly believe Caroline’s mum and her account of the night. She wasn’t there and of course she’s going to be bias. Only Lewis and Caroline know what happened that night and if they were/were not drinking.
Also didn’t Caroline admit she hit him and then change her story? Surely her narrative would be classed as unreliable too?

And surely that’s just her mum’s biased opinion anyway? Her mum wasn’t so her opinion of who was out/who was drunk and to what degree is just speculation on her part?

If it hadnt been a lamo which is usually glass. Abd he hadnt been asleep at the time then it wouldn't have been so bad. But i think she was not in a good place place mentally and (may be had a drink drugd) it makes a difference. That's why after a while he said he didn't want to claim the statement

I feel terrible for her friend. Imagine going out to the shops for a short while and come back to that.

If only she’s have moved back in with her parents or into someone else’s home.

She couldn’t be alone.

they didn’t go to the shops. That was incorrectly reported when she died. At the inquest it came out that they left early that morning and it was hours later that she was found.

She tried to kill herself the night before so the two friends staying with her rang an ambulance but she refused to go to hospital. Next day she told her friends to leave as she was angry with them for ringing an ambulance and worried the media would find out. They left then later she text one of them to say she was going to kill herself.

This was all detailed at the inquest.

Yeah I agree that Caroline’s mum seems quite biased about the whole episode and unable to accept her daughter’s accountability/problems/flaws. I’ve said it before in this thread - and it’s not a nice thing to say - but I’d guess Caroline and her mum were quite similar in the management of their emotions.

The info is all out there, most of it came from Lewis himself, there was no attack. There was no court case regarding the alleged attack, either as she died. No conviction. Everything reported other than the actual evidence heard at the inquest is literally hearsay and gossip. She died an innocent woman. Unfortunately lobbing a phone/cracking a lamp at/on her bf seems to be lodged in the public's collective psyche. That's the media for you.
Even after Lewis said he didn't want the charges to be pressed the prosecution still went ahead with them, there is no way that they would be able to that without substantial evidence, despite people claiming it was a 'show trial', the police/prosecution service have enough on their plate already. I'm not saying going to trial makes you guilty only that they need more evidence than simply a couples argument.

I do feel for her and her family though, I suppose we've all had moments in our life where we have lashed out, it's not right, especially when drinking, I know when I was younger I've woke up the next day and though why did I react like that. I've never hit anyone like that but I suppose there were heated arguments with an ex boyfriend when I was younger when I could have if I'm brutally honest. I do think her dating life was a bit chaotic and this was probably a ticking time bomb of emotions. Its hard to see the light when you are in a dark tunnel. I'm sure no matter the outcome in court, it would have passed, life would have went on for her in one way or another and perhaps she may have even come out better at the end of it, but we'll never know. I guess it shows how important it is to take yourself out of toxic situations and relationships as they never ever end well.

I think one of the reasons people are drawn to this case is because they can empathise with toxic relationships that bring out the worst in you or having highly emotional arguments where you regret your behaviour and maybe even cross the line.
I had a terrible temper and mental health issues when I was younger (in my early 30s now) and have done things I regret but I have never hit someone around the head with a heavy object, nor have I drawn blood, nor have I attacked someone when they sleeping. I’ve certainly turned over a table in temper in my time though! I found dodgy messages in an ex’s phone a few months after I’d suffered a close bereavement (he was so drunk he fell asleep with his phone next to my head and a message was on the screen when I woke up) but I poured a pint glass of water over his head to wake him and confront him. I was sober though.
I’m not saying this about myself to demonstrate how brilliant I am - I’m saying that I recognised the effects of my upbringing and did some serious work on myself to balance my emotions. It’s a work in progress but I’m dedicated to being a ‘better’ person. It’s a shame that Caroline wasn’t able to do the same with the resources and loving family available to her. It’s definitely why I’m intrigued by these sad events though - it could’ve me!

After posting the Daily Mail article above about Caroline and Lewis arguing in Ibiza last year, I realised they’re using a similar headline to describe Lottie and Lewis arguing in Ibiza...

VERY TENSE.

I just think it’s even more insensitive that they’re holidaying and public arguing where Caroline and Lewis were holidaying and public arguing less than a year ago - so soon after the inquest and splashed all over the media. Couldn’t they have gone anywhere else?

Lewis’ ex must have been so shocked when Caroline committed suicide - it sounded like she was a little bitter about the split and him moving on but you’d never expect an outcome like that. But why would he send her a picture of the blood at the scene? I can understand sending it to a friend as evidence or in shock but not to an ex girlfriend who had just weeks earlier been in the press warning Caroline that Lewis wanted her back - it’s the most insensitive thing to do. It also suggests him and the ex were in regular contact, which again wouldn’t be appropriate if the ex was trying to interfere in his relationship with Caroline.

It’s hard not to assume that Lewis is a bit of player and just wasn’t as serious about Caroline as he made out.

I thought it said she text her friend the night before she died saying she was going to kill herself? They then went to her house, called an ambulance but she refused to go and denied saying it, then the following morning she asked her Mum and sister to come over that day instead and told the 2 friends to leave as she was annoyed they’d called the ambulance the night previously
