I’ve read her book too and you’re right she was shockingly insecure for someone who seemed to have it all and the constant comparisons between her and her sister were sad, I think she definitely envied her sisters life of stability and normality even as teenagers.

I don’t like Lewis in the slightest, he was just another of those celeb hanger ons and I agree he will milk the limelight in years to come but I do find all the victim blaming really weird. Whether she was a serial abuser or not (and Im pretty sure this wasn’t the first drunken violent incident in her relationships) the fact remains that she still assaulted him, regardless of him not being the perfect victim.

I do find it very telling now ITV immediately suspended Caroline yet Ant Mcpartlin who is their pride of family tv crashes his car in to another family in a drug and drink haze and completely humiliated his wife has the full support of The corporation and is allowed to heal and rebuild his career with no judgement!
You can compare Ant and Caroline’s situation at all - both very very different.

Could it be that a group of friends went out together after the official wake? I really can’t see how some of her closest friends weren’t there, especially after her mother mentioned how many people she’d worked with etc from all over the world actually did attend
That’s what I took it to mean-the photos Lou Teasdale etc posted were from somewhere they went after the wake.

I know? Sorry I’m not sure what you’re getting at? I meant that her being very emotional due to her break ups could have been another diagnosis but not sure what it would full under:
Oh sorry i see what you meant. I read it as one sentence as in “she self harmed, was depressed.... but I’m not sure what diagnosis that comes under”

I believe she said she hit it at the scene, so it would have just been a significant statement. She didn't admit it during her interview, that she just flicked him.
Yeah I read that, but it just seemed the accounts were abit all over the place. Id have figured an admission is valid, at the scene or the station, just confused me as a procedure to charge based on that

I don’t think anyone commits suicide to mentally abuse others.

If you are mentally unstable enough to kill yourself you are unlikely to be thinking about anything else. I also think you can be so unwell that successful therapy seems beyond reach.

Mental illness does not discriminate. You could have all the money in the world and still be unable to control suicidal feelings/urges.
Whether there is intent there or not the result is the same and other people's lives are destroyed. Everyone knows its the ultimate act of selfishness. I feel sad she felt compelled to do it, especially given she'd had a warning from previous experience.

It's not been reported anywhere that I've seen that she sought and received therapy, maybe she did, maybe she didn't. But she should have done.

If it hadnt been a lamo which is usually glass. Abd he hadnt been asleep at the time then it wouldn't have been so bad. But i think she was not in a good place place mentally and (may be had a drink drugd) it makes a difference. That's why after a while he said he didn't want to claim the statement

Obviously her mother and family will still be distraught and grief stricken. Grief does funny things to a persons brain and obviously its easier to point the finger at the Police than start to look at your daughters failings and also ultimately at yourself as well. I feel sorry for her family, I think its a tragedy.
Also her boyfriend sounds a right pig as well, she shouldnt have hit him but he even send the photos of the bloodied room to his friends, was cheating on her etc. No wonder the family shunned him. He has to live with all that as well.
He doesn't really seem that bothered though does he....?

Coroner's ruling....

Anyone see the Katie hind article in the daily Mail with supposed new details of her final hours? It’s behind a pay wall can’t believe this woman is reporting on her loads lately

Does anyone know if Lewis burton was invited to the funeral? I noticed all of Caroline's close friends who have made posts mention her family and other close friends but not one has mentioned Lewis once 🤔

Even with the inquest details, we still dont know all the details. All the conversations. Inquests are part of the job for the police. It obviously wouldnt be pleasant to be shouted at or blamed for a death, but the officers responses/decisions read quite assured and confident. It was also a build up to the day that the people involved were all together; emotions were always going to be running wild.

A few days late but Emma Kenny isn't a qualified Psychologist. She has a degree but she isn't a doctor or anything. If you have a psychology degree it doesn't make you a psychologist! She's a quack.
I read an interview where she said she was a clinical psychologist etc and she does see patients.. And she also does couples counselling. Only going by what she's said in interviews and I know another site that is for trainees researched her when we all said how disgusted we were with Emma Kenney and her duty of care and requiring the spotlight so much 😉

I think there's a lot of all sorts in celebrity; histrionic personalities, narcissistic personalities, and people who struggle with identity, abandonment and rejection. The business gives people something they need, and the more you need it, the more you'll fight to get it. It's a cut throat world, and sometimes it's kill or be killed, but adoration, admiration, worship, popularity, etc... is like a drug for some, and others a life-force.

It's worth pointing out however, that just because someone might have personality traits like this, it doesn't necessarily determine whether or not they're a twat. being a twat and having a personality disorder can be independent of each other.

I.e. You're always happiest in the job that suits your personality the most.

I think the new documentary her mum helped to put together is not out yet? It is meant to come out in Feb I believe.

The 2020 documentary is currently on Amazon. I had seen it, but still think that her suicide was prompted by the media backlash: CAROLINE FLACK: HER LIFE AND DEATH

The whole reason the police are now primed to continue prosecution after a victim withdraws their statement is because the consequences of dropping it can be irreversible and fatal.
Also because she either did it, and it’s a crime (whether or not the other person wants to recognise it as such), or he made a false allegation, which is a crime.
