Yes, unfortunately, I saw this happen with a family I know. Two brothers.

A terrible tragedy. And having to deal with it in the public eye as well adds another dimension.

Heartbreaking.

The daily mail do not need to make this their headline story considering he didn't have a media profile.

The same daily mail that is part of the tabloids who encouraged photographers to slash her tyres to get a good picture.

Not explicitly blaming the DM for that but they're part of the culture that leads to it. Then they have the audacity to blame tattle to absorb themselves of responsibility.

Her siblings are very private especially after Caroline's death. The last time her brother used Instagram was just after she died. Absolutely heartbreaking for the family.

I just saw this as well! I wonder what the mother will try to blame this one on? Very sad for the family however.
I feel like this is a bit insensitive. I feel for Christine, heartbreaking.

I don’t know if MH runs in the family but from his final IG post after Caroline passed it appears he took it very hard. RIP.

On the rare occasions it happens it families it tends to be brothers, whether it’s genetic or not they don’t know.

Tragic as duck mind you.

Yes this has happened to several families that I've heard of where I live. Mainly brothers but some sisters too.

Mental health difficulties must run in their family? I wonder did he always struggle. Poor guy. So sad for his partner and kids.

As someone whose sibling died by suicide, this is my additional worst nightmare. I thank my lucky stars every single day.

Me rail.

Bloody tragic. How much can one family go through?

(Little not quite me rail, about 7 years ago I was at my uncles funeral who had passed of cancer. I knew at the time his son my cousin was in hospital with kidney disease. When my sister at the wake asked my aunty how our cousin was, she quietly told us he’d passed away that morning. As he’d been in a coma she’d had to choose whether to sit with him as he died or go to her husband of 60 years funeral. She looked absolutely broken as we all were but my word her face haunted me for months afterward. I genuinely hope the Flack family can find some peace eventually and heal together.)

@Yel the DM slashed tyres...? That's outrageous.

I don't know Caroline's brother but my heart sank a little at the thought of the rest of the family. I had someone close commit suicide and it's extremely difficult to process, not sure you ever get your head around it

You aren't to know, but that explains why we don't use that term no more. Usually people say death by suicide.

It was the most shocking thing to hear about the poor man's death. How their mother will carry on is unimaginable to me, she has never healed from what happened to Caroline and now this. The world can be a deeply cruel place.

I feel desperately sad for them and those they've left behind.

Were the press still hounding the family, even now? That family had gone through so much, I can’t even imagine 😢

Christ, that poor, poor family. I have been critical of Christine in the past but my heart goes out to that poor woman and the rest of the family, absolutely bleeping heartbreaking. I hope they are getting all the love and support they need and that the press leave them the duck alone.

I agree, I don’t think she handled the situation with Caroline well at all but she is a mum grieving her child and now she has lost two in the same way. It doesn’t bare thinking about. I really hope she has a strong network around her as she will really need it.
