She basically painted a picture of herself as woman in need to do such a profession as sex worker. Most of people those days trying to be so liberal and can’t quiet openly say what they really think. I don’t believe for a second that all of them truly deep inside believe that is right. And even if obviously it’s every single person choice none of them would want to become a prostitute or would want they daughter to become one of them. I would prefer to go do some cleaning for money for example. Still they all need to pretend that they are so liberal that this is fine.
Can not understand how on earth being a pimp goes together with empowering women. Obviously she didn’t mention that part. All it’s so bizarre.
Most probably if she was white middle class it would be different story...

Her follower count does go up when she puts herself in the limelight. Interestingly, it goes down when people realise what a nasty, prejudiced piece of work she is.

Never thought this would happen in a billion years, but it's made me feel sorry for mod. There's no way mod leaked this, it's been out for ages and cb carefully t released her victim statement yesterday evening. Friday evening is peak time for posting and responses. It was a clear message to her brands to say see I'm still popular my followers don't give a fuck and know where's my Xmas contract?

She's manipulated the whole thing. But one thing She should've learnt from mod is that the truth will out. There's lots of posters asking is she was a pimp and she is furiously deleting away. There are comments on here and mumsnet with the truth of her role which she cannot delete. Let's see how this plays out. Personally I would not touch with a bathrooms any brand that works with cb or mod. We actually stopped using destinology altogether after they paired up with mod.

CB has totally manipulated this whole situation. she is a very aggressive woman who will get the deals she wants at all costs.

I think Candice will be fine with her followers. Just had a look at some of the comments, people have mentioned watching the documentary and aren't fazed by what they saw. Maybe brands will see through this and continue to use her. Interesting that there is no support from Aunty Erica Davies, there was a lot of love between these two and it looks like they don't even follow each other.

Family friendly brands won’t endorse her after this has come to light. The amount of complaints they will get from people wouldn’t be worth it, she might get new deals from brands that encourage pimping/ prostitution etc but the current ones won’t go near, regardless of what her followers think.

I don't think she is the best we have but she is growing the fastest. There are lots of other accounts out there but you have to dig for them. She doesn't tend to follow them and vice versa.

totally agree! I have unfollowed loads of accounts of various different races because I’ve thought they were aggressive. Candice is aggressive, but I think that’s her personality, and has nothing to do with the fact that she’s black.

Not white, not middle class, don’t tick any of the usual instamum follower boxes and she (CB) annoys me no end. She is a fucking embarrassment because she is aggressive, she is rude, she has zero class and even less self awareness and she will shut you down if you call her out on any of her many lies and embellishments.

This isn’t about her race, this about her coming across as a thoroughly dislikeable person who will step on anyone and use anything to get to the world of designer shoes and freebies.

She doesn’t care about making motherhood diverse, she cares about getting Candi a seat at the top insta mum table.

I loved CB and was warming to Papa B. I was planning on buying her book.. but not anymore. So angry at her playing the victim card.
I have genuine appreciation for sex workers and wish our country allowed them to work in away that helped protect them. The thought of CB rolling in money whilst other women have sex is sickening.
Her money obsession is weird. I came from a low income, single parent family and know about struggle. But I do not behave like that.
The only power we have is to unfollow CB and Papa B.. do it!!

I gotta say Candice is a lot worse than MOD. MOD’s behaved like a huge dick, preaching kindness to the masses while she’s been a backstabbing cow. However, when you break it down all she’s really done is have good old bitch and moan about “work mates”. Candice on the other hand has used women when they are most vulnerable for her own gain. Let’s be very clear regardless of whether or not she “escorted” herself her role in the whole sexworker set up was the abuser and certainly not the victim. I’m literally infuriated by all the women who have come out supporting her so publicly. I hope for MODs sake she decides to give up the instafame and goes back to her day job

I'm absolutely disgusted by Candice and how she's spun this for her own benefit. Been following for a long time and used to love, although for a while ive been having reservations. I asked her on the grid photo if it's true she was a pimp and it was deleted and blocked in 2 minutes. She put it on her grid as she knew it would be a positive thing for her career so wanted to scream it and get the comments. No praise from me. I don't think she even cares about race issues, it's just the easiest thing for her to latch on to for money. I'm so disappointed there are no decent WOC in the UK parenting circles because Candice is a total and utter embarrassment.

I'm sure this was posted on Mumsnet ages ago too, I knew about CB's past way before even joining Tattle. There was an infamous occasion when her husband posted on her stories addressing MN users directly in defence of CB.

The moral of all this for all Social Media Influencers is they've all probably got some sort of shady little secret they'd rather keep quiet, but be honest from the outset if your business is putting yourself out there online, nothing is really a secret when it's on the Internet.

She has and is game hungry. She has always said she wanted the money and has obviously looked and tried lots of ways to get it.

I have no issue with owning your past, but the fact that each and every version of her is put on to get cash would make you think that people might be a little dubious about her.

Here’s where I’m at. Tell your whole truth Candice. It could be the case that she ran an agency at cost to create a safe space for people to work. But while she’s hiding behind a half truth and burying the most important part, she can’t be given any credibility.
