And now Nicholas Brendon has died
I’ve just seen this waking up! I wasn’t a huge fan of him as I know his behaviour during the show wasn’t great and then obviously there was the DA stuff afterwards.
Having said that, I can still appreciate what he brought to the show and it’s sad to hear him passing
Sad situation for his whole family, obviously, but it must be very hard for his twin 
I hope everyone he hurt can now find some peace.

The thing I wanted most of all from a potential reboot was another scene between Buffy and Giles.

He reminded me of my dad in all the good ways, and they're a similar age too. So sad.
Heartbroken. What a beautiful tribute from SMG. I have no interest in a new buffy now. I agree that it would have only have been worthwhile to have buffy and Giles reunited.

That’s probably my favourite too. It’s just done so well. For all of Joss Whedon’s faults, that is one absolute television masterpiece.
It is. I think one of the reasons I love it is because you have to concentrate . You can’t doom scroll when it’s on
100%, something I assume wouldn't be made now for that reason
I am a massive Buffy fan and Giles has always been one of my favourite parts of show. I can't imagine anyone other than Anthony Head playing him as well as he did - he made the character so multi dimensional. RIP AH
