Yeah weird choice! I guess 1. she's running out of money as she's monetised every aspect of her life and has run out of stories or b. the Telegraph dropped her? She only got the job through nepotism as her mum was a journalist there anyway

i used to read her in the Times weekend magazine, she always seemed so full of herself. I cannot believe she is somehow writing ANOTHER book, did/does anyone read the awful column with her and her mum? it was the most dull thing i've ever read

The Wrong Knickers is an excellent debut book. Really funny in a lot of places, just not sure everything I found funny I was suppose to.

I think people are just bored of the same shit from her. She does some good work, but this book is pretty derivative of her others it seems and just a money grab

Oh I don’t know, she does some good work on mental health and the importance of opening up. But it’s always about me, me, me with Bryony and her life has been totally charmed. I think that’s what makes her ring inauthentic

Bryony was one of the original internet trolls back in the late 1990s/early 2000s. She, Caitlin Moran and loads of others of that moment were camped out on the Popbitch website (and the random web forum for the town of Liphook) and did nothing but cyberbully. Odd that she’s never written about any of it.

Where are her Popbitch posts? I can't see them anywhere to back up what you said.

She's been very open about her struggles since childhood in loads of different books.

Hmm a kids book? About alopecia? One thing I like about Bryony is that she promotes mental health and wellness and normalises this kind of thing, but seems a bit appearance focused…

Just to update everyone, the next book will likely be on binge eating disorder as she's having treatment for it, as per instagram. Or maybe another mental health one which combines the various challenges she's had. If it helps someone who reads it best of luck to her.

She's got her 8th (I think) book coming out next month. Usually hits the one a year target to talk about mental health.
