I don’t know much about her other than what other influencers post. And maybe I’m the only one who feels this way, but it really bothers me that she started a matcha brand. Matcha has a rich history in Japanese tradition and she’s just starting doing it because it’s the trendy drink at the moment and not because she cares or knows much about that tradition. Just a money grab at the expense of another culture.
I discovered matcha after wanting to find an alternative to coffee and came to find the cultural significance behind it. I wished that she had incorporated literature or even acknowledged its rich tradition when she marketed the product, and I’m sure everyone is in agreement with you on this money grab. It’s almost insulting to market the utensils used without acknowledging this.
The video for what is supposed to be an intimate Christmas dinner was just too much. The lamest gathering with the most terrible food. Its no wonder everyone is as skinny as Bryony is.
