Barry, that shell suit and jeep
That Jeep was extremely odd with its fabric door and zip up plastic windows. I bet it was hard to keep warm and dry in during the winter months and would be a thief’s wet dream to get into by just using a pen knife to cut your way in

The insurance on it must have been very expensive

I got to the point where I thought that Chrissy's hair needed its own show; or at least a really good drink of water.

I've only watched first episode but got all teary eyed with nostalgia after seeing Rods
Sergio Tacchini top

ALL the cool lads wore that brand when I was at school, God it makes me feel old!

Is it just me or is anyone finding it abit flat at the mo?
I didn't go much on Xmas episode and felt like an episode was missing after they found Barry in the freezer!!
I was never a fan of gangster Barry.
Am only really liking Max and snobby Pat!
And the new theme music

The new theme music is reminding me of when the Eastenders theme had that jazzy update in 1993 that not many people liked so it went back to the old version after less than a year

I get fed up when people mess with theme tunes. There's a podcast I've followed for a couple of years (ironically from Liverpool) and they've unnecessarily changed the theme tune. Now I'll find it really hard to listen to the content because the ambience isn't right

Yeah, it's a bit if a slog at the moment,
I don't get excited anymore on a Wed, haven't watched this week's yet
I would have always called myself a big brookside fan, but, honestly, I think I'm looking back with rose tinted glasses at how good it actually was

And I feel bad for saying that fellow brookies

The end of this week’s last episode was a bit shocking.

That guy Sinnott, Mike’s nemesis, was played by Neil Fitzmaurice (who was credited as Neil Anthony in these episodes)

He’s probably best known nowadays for being in Phoenix Nights

And The Office...briefly!

I googled the guy who played Sinnot as he looked so familiar, he was also in Mount Pleasant!

Has anyone noticed something in Brookside? It's something that once you do, you can't un-notice and this 5 episode drop has been rife with it!
