Yes, absolutely @Maid22
I wonder what the back story is? And Billy is in it too, so things could get interesting!
Didn't Claire come on this thread?
It was a real pleasure to hear her side of things and it really annoys me that she is never mentioned in the credits, she was a massive part in the story
Yes the actress who played Claire did pop in, was lovely!
Hopefully she'll come back here!! I wanted to know what her children thought of her being on tv!!!
I was 16 when brookie ended and I taped the last episode & kept it for years! I don’t know how old I was when I first started watching but I remember so many key moments like the gas explosion! Also Tinhead was my first crush!
I haven’t watched hollyoaks in years but I will def be watching this!

We have the same era of watching! I can remember the body under the patio. The incest storyline, the gas explosion and the Millennium club bomb. So I guess I watched from 1995 to 1999. I dipped back in for the bullying storyline and the 2002 siege but I stopped watching again when they took it off week nights.
I googled and think I started 94 sometime as I do remember the Cult storyline with Simon, but before then it would've been on as Mum watched the omnibus
I was an early days watcher, missed a lot of the early 90's as I was working and had a fairly hectic social life ( those were the days!) But I would try to catch the odd omnibus edition.
Tinhead etc I don't really remember, that's why I'm so grateful for the STV reruns, though it will be a while to get there
And now this cross over,
Happy Days
Love this thread! Bit niche, but Billy Corkhill was a reluctant getaway driver at one point, to this day I always say "drive Billy, drive" in the style of Gene the armed robber when I'm accelerating my car..
Absolutely! I love all of his works, one of the greatest writers. The last 2 episodes were so good!
Doreen just carrying on as if nothing had happened, very strange!
The last word from Sheila 'COW'
Well I loved Brookside can’t remember when I started watching is as I was 4 in 1982! But I just started from the beginning on Channel 4 and okg they really came out swinging! 3 episodes in and I’m hooked. Glad I get to see these early years now.
