A lot of the comments here are over the top.

B&A are excited and naive AF, same as all first time parents.

The screeching wouldnt be my reaction, but Brian would screech all day long, seems about right that hes screeching. Horses for courses.

A lot of people saying A will have have to do more than his fair share... thats the case in many relationships that there is unequal division of labour, not sure why is would be any different for them.

That child is very much longed for and loved, im sure theyll make many mistakes, but will figure it out as they go along (like everyone else) and will be fine.

I hate hearing people assume what aoife will feel after she gives birth. Has anyone here been a surrogate?

I think it's akin to saying how people would feel after an abortion, that it's the hardest decision in a woman's life. My bollocks, I've had an abortion, would have a million more if I had to and haven't regretted it or felt like it was a life changing event ever.

Everyone is not the same! I'm sure she will be absolutely fine and feel like the most amazing person in the world having given her bro and bro in law the most amazing gift anyone could wish for! She's not a child, she's a grown woman and has made this decision and is more than capable.

Have to say I'm loving watching their holiday!! It's rare these days that insta-personalities actually show the true not-so-glam side of their lives. These two aren't taking themselves too seriously........I'm sure they know we're all having a laugh at their ott outfits, Arthur's bingefest breakfasts and getting lashed rain on! Most other z-list celebs would be pretending to stay in ultra-glam resorts and refusing to show a millisecond of footage that didn't show dazzling blue skies.

I have to confess I was probably exactly the same as Brian before I had my kids…wouldn’t get out of bed until at least 11am on weekends. Myself and hubby were away at least 4 times a year and then did weekends away in Ireland also. We had an amazing life and we loved it…we what people didn’t see was we struggled with fertility for almost 5 years and desperately wanted kids…we should not always judge/assume how people will be when they have kids based on their life before kids.

Serious homophobia on this thread. It’s actually disgusting in this day and age. I feel sorry for the children ye are dragging up. Families come in all shapes and sizes. I’ve no doubt this baby will be well loved and taken care of and that’s literally all that matters.
If a couple I knew, a man and a woman, announced their pregnancy with the man screaming 'we're pregnant!!!!' I'd be rolling my eyes as well. Nothing to do with being homophobic. If he is "pregnant" then he should be off the cocktails he was having last night, do drinking during pregnancy Brian 😄
Nobody has a problem with them having a baby, it will all work out, just people pointing out he didn't thank the surrogate, the we're pregnant thing and him saying he's over qualified cos he has nieces and nephews, if he was a straight man and came out with all of that we would be slagging him off as well

Mark from westlife & his husband are a great example of same sex parents.

No over exposure. No schilling the child for free stuff all while campaigning for better rights.

I cannot see this obnoxious self obsessed pair coping with parenthood.

Definitely. There's some fucking weird reaching on this thread. I couldn't wait for my babies first Christmases. My first birthday with a baby etc.... my partner was crap with a lack of sleep. Does that make him a shit dad. No. He just powers through and whinges like the rest of us. Would they be getting this slack if they weren't a gay couple? Some people are turning me cold on here. And I can be a cunt as much as the next person.

As I said before just goes 2 show money can buy a child and nothing 2 do with anything. I give that marriage another 5 years and that's being generous. If it is sister more problems on th way. Hopefully they will they will take a break from social media and give us all some peace.🤣
If the sister is carrying it voluntarily then it's not commercial surrogacy.

Genetically it's almost certainly Brian or Arthur's own biological child (assume Arthurs)

As for their marriage being on the rocks, I dont see that at all. They must be together 20 years and have survived all kinds of challenges (career lows, parents dying , moving from LA to Brian's Dad's house in Kildare  ) why would they not survive parenthood?

I've seen them on insta with their nieces and nephews and strikes me they will be gorgeous parents.

I'm absolutely delighted for them.

It’s massive especially when she hasn’t had her own child and experienced it, very selfless to gift them like that.

He really is a grabby scab. Going from Salon to Salon getting what he can for free. More fools them for giving it to him. And now Aoife the shadow on tow.

To be fair I really enjoy it. I lost my mum when I was very young and I relate to a lot of his guests. It may be depressing but it’s my go to podcast when I’m out walking and can be therapeutic to so many particularly during lockdown

I hope Aoife is relaxing in Casa Pippa putting her feet up and eating all her biscuits and using all her expensive face masks and bits and bobs and farting on all the cushions

He talks about having a child like it's an accessory it's disgusting.
He's excited about having a baby at Halloween and Christmas. Hardly the first expectant parent to focus on the "fun" parts.

He also talks about being terrified at the lack of sleep.

I think he has the same ideas about what's in store as any soon-to-be-parent does. Hardly "disgusting".

Is it just me or does anyone else think Arthur’s dances are always the same? Shoulders flying and bandy leg movements
