There’s a follow up Boyzone documentary in the works which will show the build up to the two reunion concerts at Emirates Stadium being held in June

They were interviewed on This Morning yesterday (Tuesday) and said that a documentary crew were following them around at the moment

I love Boyzone but my god they are milking this cow DRY. Not for a minute do I believe this will be the FINAL time they'll ever perform. Give it 5/10 years they'll be back mark my words!

Just been reading the comments in DM side bar of shame and they are all of the same mind - Sharon wants a new mansion, is this their pension farewell tour, when will they officially get to retirement age then we can say goodbye for ever, type of comments.

Last time was supposed to be over forever. Then the documentary success changed their minds.

It's not like it was their first 'tell all' doc either, they did one after they reformed first time around, then another one for ITV2 immediately after Steo died. Then BZ20 on itv celebrating their history. There can't be anything more to document at this point! 🤣

If they do anything else again will come down to money just like these shows have, I am more interested if Mikey has done any in person rehearsals with the others or on his own by various methods. I do hope the shows will bring them closer together as they had a life journey only they went through and can understand.

I find their motivations quite confusing for both the shows and documentary. Ronan has obviously been the most successful member of the band, he’s never been out of work. Keith is regularly gigging and touring with Boyzlife, Mikey clearly prefers to live a quiet private life, and Shane isn’t particularly materialistic and has other interests in cars. Not saying they are all mega wealthy but, at the very least, they now all have freedom to pursue whatever work or interests they wish. So, why another documentary, what’s to be gained by this?

That said, I am a Boyzone fan and will be at the Emirates next week 😂 their first time doing a stadium gig and I was not missing it.

How much rehearsing does Mikey need to stand at the end with his mic off while Ro does all the singing? 😂

I heard a podcast a while back and Shane has got really into God and the Bible. He talked about demonism in the media, while I didn't agree with everything he said, he actually made some interesting points!
Have a great time seeing them! I saw them once at the BZ20 ITV recording and it was actually really fun, so I'm sure they'll put on a good show!

They probably don't badly need the money but I'm sure whatever figure they get was too good to turn down. More power to them I guess. Is Mikey doing the live shows?

Going tonight, so excited even though I was a Stephen girl through and through 🩷 Missed a couple of tours as I didn’t think it was worth it without him but I would have serious FOMO of my friend hadn’t got tickets 🤣
Just seen on the set list it mentions Mikey ‘joining’ them- does he only appear for a bit!? How strange 🤣 I always remember my friend’s sister once telling me he was her fave, and her opinion of him really changed mine. Think he seems a nice, quiet fella.

Did anyone here go lastnight?

Great Mikey turned up. I was reading comments that him and Keith don't talk?

Watching a few clips I see Ronan is still an absolute melt in love with himself 🙄

🤣 me and friend have just watched the video where he’s strutting into stage as Mikey’s singing- both just said, ‘he’s such a fool’ at the same time 🤣🤣🤣

If Boyzone had done a concert in Ireland I would have gone. Last time I saw them live was their original reunion tour with Stephen.
If Ronan hadn't made his comments about them having to go to England to get a break, forgetting it was the interest throughout Ireland who got them as far as England I might have even travelled to London.

Instead I booked tickets to Westlife who have never forgotten their roots. Their tour announcement was so pointed and Louis coded coming down the Liffy in their boat. Really rubbing in how badly judged Ronan's comments were.

All being said I hope Mikey is ok, he doesn't actually look all that well in the clips I've seen. He quite obviously doesn't really want to be there but seems to feel he owes the fans something.

I think Mikey is doing it purely for the money. But I hope he's enjoying it. I think he only joins them for four songs.

I was there, Mikey came in partway through sang a couple of songs from his chair, disappeared again and then came back at the end.

Ronan looked like he'd raided his mum's wardrobe, with a sparkly cloak at the beginning, then later a red floaty blouse and heels.
