Watching it all back again really refreshed my mind how good of a vocal Natasha Hamilton had and she still got I really think she should’ve been the most successful solo artist out of atomic kitten Kerry got the fame she became tabloid fodder I like Kerry though she’s a very likable person

I really enjoyed this for the nostalgia but there was so many holes with it too; the timelines kept going all over the place even though these bands were around at the same time as each other.

Found it really strange with the whole Sugababes coming full circle at the end but they’re singing a song only Keisha was around for! Should have done the Overload clip imo.

Su-Elise is still stunning!

Girl power forever ✌

Completely agree. And one random thing that irritated me was when they'd show a stock clip of say Atomic Kitten in 1999 they'd play a song like 'It's ok' from 2002. A very niche annoyance 🤣 but makes you think the editors didn't care enough to match the right song to the right era.

What about Bwitched too? They had quite a big moment in the late 90s, very brief but some big hits

There was a picture of them in a blink and you’d miss it moment when they showed them on the front of a magazine cover along with a bunch of other girlband front covers but as you say, no verbal mention of them

That annoyed me with the background music too, like when the opening part of episode 1 talked about the turmoil of 1992 and they were using Celebrity Skin by Hole which wasn't out until 1998. Useless!

I was very young when Eternal where a thing, like 2/3 but I didn’t know Louise started off in Eternal that was new to me, I remember a few of her solo songs later on over the years.

I wanna get Naked!

I didn't realise they were more successful after she left

I think some bands like B*Witched and Honeyz too we're on the big reunion so we kind of saw their back story there. I know it's the same for Atomic Kitten but it would be too repetitive with them all.

One of my early memories of Eternal (early as in early in their career, I would have been about 13) was them performing Stay at the Smash Hits Poll Winners Party. They were singing live, and Louise’s mic seemed to have been turned up surprisingly high for the backing vocals. Her voice was wobbling all over the place.

Just checked and it’s on YouTube! I haven’t seen this in 30 years and the vocals are as ROUGH as I remember 😂

She was beautiful though. Love the choreo.

What a great clip that is! Esther’s voice is great, but it really makes it obvious how much auto tune is used these days.

Listening to it again I don’t know if Easter (hate that spelling!) sang the whole thing live or just parts of the song. Seems to be miming at some points. Either way Louise’s mic was on and it shouldn’t have been 😂

Considering you’ve spelt it Easter like the Spring bank holiday :D I wonder if teachers at her school called her Easter by mistake when seeing her name for the first time written down and she got called the Easter Bunny by the kids at school

I dont think neither Louise or Kelly had good voices.
I remember Kelly singing years ago on the MoBo awards and I still have 2nd hand embarrassment for her to this day
