I saw Eternal live not long ago, the Bennett sisters and the new French girl, they were fairly awful. The new girl was the best! (I still bopped though 🫣)
I've also seen Louise a few times and she's really good, her voice has a really pleasant tone and she still performs well. Easther was obviously an outstanding singer but she really seems to strain these days.
Every time I remember she was married to Shane from Boyzone I chuckle at the culture blend that was their wedding

I’m LOVING this. Mostly the nostalgia for a time when people didn’t have loads of fillers and other crap injected into their lovely young faces and all just looked like themselves.
Mel Blatt is not coming across at all well though. You still had a decent career and you didn’t want to be in a manufactured act, which is where the marketing that got Spice Girls into the stratosphere came from. Either you wanted the authenticity or you wanted the fame and money, but very few people in that era would be able to have both.

I do think it was really sly on Mis teeq when they label went bust they had so much more to give and I think the other two were definitely some what jealous of aleasha solo success I think the original members of Sugababes were quite boring Keisha and mutya have always had stunning voices but I don’t think it worked with Siobhan. Heidi definitely saved them or they would’ve flopped. Heidi gave them something. They hit the jackpot with her.

God these journalists are tiresome "the Spice Girls alienated older kids by becoming commercial" mate they were launched as a manufactured girl band, commercial is in the job description

Precious were possibly the best looking girlband. A band of models basically.
Also I'm not impressed at Jenny saying they came second last in Eurovision, they came 12th! Mid table is very respectable! And she also said they were dropped without mentioning this absolute banger

The 5 of them did an official doc many years ago on itv (think around 2007 when they got back together). Pretty sure it's on YouTube!
