Started The Wych Elm by Tana French and I'm finding it a bit slow going.

I've read The Likeness and In The Woods which I liked but so far in this all we've had is 100 pages of the main character's boring life and boring friends and boring family.

Does it get better?

You be mother by Meg Mason is on the 99p daily deals and I highly recommend it. Read it a few years ago and absolutely adored it.
I am currently reading this ☺I’m 25% through and enjoying it so far . So random that you mention it

I really enjoyed sorrow and bliss but can’t remember the intricacies of the plot or anything

I’ve been reading lots of physical books having remembered the library exists but have now gone back to my kindle and omg it’s so much easier to read isn’t it. I was sooo anti ebook for so long but I admit I was wrong

I exclusively read with the kindle app on my iPad. I would really struggle with paper copies now.

I like both. I usually have a kindle book and a physical book on the go. I’ve just started getting more into audiobooks too for when I take the dog out or if I can’t be bothered talking to anyone at work.

i’m jumping between the two (i’m a very new kindle owner after swearing for years i would never get one) - i think i still prefer a physical book but can’t deny the kindle is amazing. especially propped up on my knees so i can hold my tea in one hand and a cake in the other 🤣 it’s also amazing for travelling!

my kindle is also 80% gay sports romances tbh so it gets a solid extra plus point for that 😇

I like both too but I travel a lot for work so kindle wins on that front. I can’t face the idea of running out of a book on a trip!

I will never not do physical books as my groaning bookshelves show but I’ve had a few hardbacks out of the library and oh my they are devil to read in bed. I’m now snuggled up for an afternoon of reading with my kindle and page turner - much easier (and lazier😂)
