Has anyone tried skin boosters and what did you think?? I’m getting polynucleotides done atm on my undereyes as I’ve always had quite dark circles and darkness round that area ever since I was a teenager and nothing gets rid of them. Had my 2nd session done last week and due to get the 3rd done next week, I have noticed a big difference after having the 2nd session done, but was looking at maybe getting skin boosters done at some stage as well just wondering it’s the same like you have to do 3 seasons before seeing the benefits?

Update on my Current Body LED Hair Growth Helmet if anyone is interested!

I bought this using a 20% discount code at the end of November last year and have used it for the recommended time of ten minutes every night. According to the Current Body website, results may start to be visible between 12-16 weeks.

Whilst I haven’t seen an amazing amount of new hair re-growth in general, there is definitely some re-growth at my temples. My hair also feels stronger, is in better condition and even feels thicker for some reason. I’m also not shedding as much hair.

I did some more research (as in ChatGPT 🤣) and it said that in someone older (I’m 65), results will/may take longer and that it could take 6-12 months for optimal re-growth to occur. I’ve also looked at my diet and whilst I eat healthily, I don’t really hit the recommended amount of protein I should so I’m going to work on increasing that and see if that has any effect.

Do you take collagen powder?
Ive been using for a few weeks now and noticed an almost immediate effect on my joints. Its been noticed that im walking better. Am thrilled.
Had my hair trimmed today and the stylist remarked ive got lots if new hair sprouting all over my head. Can only be the collagen. Hair growth was not my concern.
Still waiting for the Glow tho...
Nutrition Geeks.

Ooh! No I don’t but that’s really interesting and worth a try!! Chat GPT recommended a protein powder to use (which I haven’t bought yet) so I’ll order that at the same time. Glad it’s working for you and thank you for the recommendation ☺ x

Hello. I had my 3 areas of Botox on Saturday and I mentioned I'm feeling like I’m looking old (I’m 41). My jawline isn’t snatched like it used to be. She suggested sculptra on the sides of the face for tightness. Is it worth it?

Oh! I tried Collagen and didn't notice any difference, but it wasn't the Nutrition Geeks one.

My mum is a couple of years older than you and also realised she wasn’t getting as much protein as she should and she’s just bought a (clear) protein powder drink and it’s actually so nice. She made me one when I was over in the week, and where is was hot out and we had it over ice it was so refreshing. The flavour was Raspberry Lemonade and I think the brand is called My Protein.

I get the clear protein from MyProtein too in Mango & Orange, it's really nice.

I must admit that I just put my CurrentBody face mask on my head after doing my face. Looks silly but a whole lot of money saved!

That is the brand that’s been recommended!!
I think they say one scoop gives you approximately 25g of protein which definitely makes hitting your daily requirement much more attainable (for me at least) plus it’s relatively low in calories.
If it has any effect on hair growth (I’m also going to start taking the Nutrition Geeks collagen) I’ll report back ☺.

I tried that but as my hair is generally thinning all over I was worried I wouldn’t get enough coverage in addition to which moving the mask around my scalp for ten minutes at a time was quite time consuming.
It’s definitely an investment purchase even with the 20% discount but on the plus side, it’s made me committed to using it every night ☺.

I have my protein's vegan clear protein and it's great. Doesn't taste chalky or gritty like some mixes can. Just like having squash. I do mix it with more water than they suggest because otherwise I find it too strong and sweet, but i am the kind of person who gravitates towards lime cordial so my preference is on the sharper end of taste!

I have ordered my CB 2 mask. So excited.
What are we putting on our skin before using? If anything.

I usually use the Maysama roobois serum 15 minutes before or just use on cleansed skin.

A lot of youtubers keep their masks by their beds and use it before getting up. I don't because the one time I used it before cleansing when I'd used tretinoin the night before, I went red and felt like my skin was burning during using the mask. This is the exact opposite of what the mask usually does. My skin normally looks much less red after, so I now make sure any trace of what I used the night before has been cleansed away.

I don't think you're meant to use anything. Some people use green tea serums etc but inthink evidence around it is limited. I usually use it after washing my face in the morning then do the rest of skincare routine after.
