Is she ever going to address this? I doubt it's fully plagiarized but it seems weird not to acknowledge all of the comments about it.

If Yer Good Dude Bert came into my place of work wearing her Balaclava And Sunglasses, I simply would not be able to contain my ~cackle

The headless and limbless cookie cut ideal hour-glass shaped body earrings are a strange choice.

if i saw someone coming towards me wearing those I doubt i'd have a clue what they were meant to be, I'd guess either a deformed pastry or a fish hanging from its tail

anyway, in the book saga -the PURE CRINGE of this. I'm embarrassed for her......

Also, this is fiction…? It’s not as if BR is trying to monetise being a blogger going on a ton of dates herself or the concept of 52 dates is what’ll generate interest/revenue in this project. The value in this book is BR writing the fictional story so this is all very eh!

Ive also just realised she must have waited exactly 15 days so she could tweet her stupid Nothing Compares2U reference 🙈 christ!

Sorry but everything about this woman is embarrassing, starting with the fact she's using eblogger in 2022.
😂😂😂

Agreed the whole thing is really embarrassing. The fact she admits she’s gone to an IP lawyer who’s said there’s absolutely no ground to stand on, the fact she’s print screened their Twitter relationship where it’s only ever her tweeting at BR never any correspondence back, the fact she’s admitted it’s like 3% of the book.

Like why has this OG blogger not got anyone in her life sitting her down saying leave it?!

Sounds like she had a parasocial relationship with BR- she felt they were friends (or at least knew each other?) but to BR, she’s nobody.

I’m sure that is a biting feeling but not really BR’s fault and the concept is not original OR very much of the book at all. I’m glad for this person’s sake that they have conceded but they may need to take some time to decompress now and forget about it.

its's really embarrassing...... like I do get why she might be a bit annoyed but its the sort of thing you'd witch about to your mates and family and move on, not write thousands of words about it online. ad don't know why she would think BR would remember tweeting her, even if they did have conversations, BR must have tweeted thosuands of people over the years.

the idea that she thinks people might buy the book because of her blog and thats why the tag line was changed seems mad (plus surely the publisher not BR decided on the tag line??) I hope for her sake that "her lawyer" is a friend and she didnt PAY for that advice!

Oh dear the title is cringe. And the part where she links this to feminism and women tearing other women down. Come on!!
I remember the blog. It was reasonably entertaining but there were a lot like it at the time and many were better- The Guyliner was the best example. Perhaps she's bitter she couldn't turn it into a book deal (sorry plagiarizing @frillylilly there, who already said that 😅)

This really is so cringe. I bet our pal Bert didn’t even choose the tagline herself, the publishers would have. Is it really that original of an idea?!
