Mine is sugar in my tea for lent a few years ago! Could never drink tea now if it had sugar in it!

I gave up booze, fags at the same time as I can't have one without the other.

I was a very heavy drinker and smoked 60 a day. it was easier than giving up sugar and I still fight the sugar cravings every day

Smoking! I used to smoke from about 16-23 years of age, when I was pregnant with my first child I quit, haven’t touched a cigarette since! The smell of them makes me feel sick. Can’t believe I ever smoked to be honest.
Also gave up caring what other people think about me about a year ago and I haven’t looked back 🤣

I want to cut right back on alcohol and stop being a large witch too, but one thing at a time 🤪

At the moment it's therapy- not saying I didn't grow and change, but the last 8 months or so of it was just spent going around in circles and I did it for almost 4 years. It's nice not analyzing every single thing.

Watching soaps. Never once felt like dipping back into them. I just stopped caring about the characters and the fact nobody could have a normal pregnancy/wedding.

Biting my nails
Watching soaps - I honestly can’t remember the last time I watched them, I still think Curly in is Corrie 🤣

And like a few have mentioned, bad friendships & chasing after people.

Needy friends, following the crowd, saying yes when i didn’t want to, worrying about what others think.

Agree with sugar in tea. I can’t touch sugary tea now, it’s grim.

also sugary pop, I only drink sugar free fizzy pop now and my teeth have been so much better.

gluten 😂 I was diagnosed with coeliac disease in 2019 and I feel so much better for cutting it out!

Smoking (although I do still vape a bit).

I spent far too long playing the Sims a while back and even now I get hooked on silly apps and games but try to limit it.

Years ago I used to buy loads of Sunday papers and spend most of the day reading them. Now I only read a few newspaper websites daily for the most interesting stuff.

Caffeine. A controversial statement but I finally admitted to myself that it made it feel awful and jittery

Smoking (and, several years later, vaping)
Diet coke (mostly avoid caffeinated coffee too)
Newspapers; weekly and monthly magazines (I buy one particular bimonthly mag now and read it cover to cover!)
The career I studied for. Feckin' hated it.
Oh and milk (and most dairy). Great decision, I feel much less tit now!
