I had quite the candid and amusing chat with the security manager, I explained the Columbia incident, them getting kicked out of the casino just recently for live streaming without permission. He said "great sounds like we are expecting the circus to be in town tonight" I talked with him about the rules on livestreaming in the parks and on property, he explained it is technically against the rules but it has not been enforced, but as of lately they have been over run with complaints from guests due to you tubers and tick tock and it is his understanding that late summer, early fall that there is going to be new rules implemented for privacy and fund raising in the parks in regards to social media. . Have a great evening super besties, hope your hard earned money was worth getting kicked out of the Grand Californian.

It was disheartening to wake up and not read about anything done.

Here’s my view on yesterday’s event.

I have to admit that I never contacted Grand Cal Security at all yesterday or had any intention to because as some of you have mentioned:

“Those Stans in attendance all seem like nice people, just passionate about Disney, and pretty naive to the grift.” In my opinion. they didn’t deserve their evening to be ruined.

With that said, you know Katie had one eye on Tattle at all times - so it was OK to give her a little bit of angst before and throughout the event with some of the comments.

Additionally, what fun would it have been if it wasn’t on a LIVE stream where everyone here could enjoy (a la Harveys)?

Finally, a riddle for Katie & Spencer, was Uncle Lester actually 2,000 miles away from the meetup and just taking clues from the Zoom call, sitting less than 30 feet away while getting drinks at Hearthstone, or literally sitting with you at your roundtable for half of the night? (Reference to “It’s a Small World” joke that Spencer kept saying to us all last night. Thanks for the slice of the Charcuterie Pizza - I had never tried it before and would order next time)…

This might be referenced further in the thread, but did anyone catch KT talking about her morning workout routine in the date night video? They’re walking down Main St talking about the College Marching Band’s “moves and choreography” and she says “that’s actually my workout routine in the morning, you know I do the knee thing” and Spencer laughs like he knows it’s a bald faced lie and changes the subject. It’s around the 2:50 mark.

I recently watched the Magic Key video and it makes me cringe when they talk about how they feel like Disney doesn’t value them and how “angry” Katie is.

Your Dream Key pass was $1399 and includes free parking as well as the food/merch discounts. Let’s say you go twice a week (they’ve said this is usually how often they go) every month for a year. That’s 96 visits a year, or $14.57 a visit.

Let’s also assume you park each time. 96 visits times $30 for parking = $2880

The average cost of a one day park hopper Disneyland ticket is about $164-224 depending on the date. Let’s go on the low end and multiply $164 by 96 visits. That is $15,744. Let’s add the $2880 and that makes the grand total $18,624 and you only paid $1399!!!!!

I’d say that’s AMAZING value. Disney doesn’t want low-profit margin guests in the parks. I won’t be surprised if Magic Keys/AP are sunset forever. I hope not because it would be bad business since Universal, Sea World, Knotts, etc all offer annual passes with no reservations. The AP guests fill in space during the slower seasons and do spend money on food and merch.

However, to say Disneyland is treating you poorly and making you feel devalued is complete and utter BS. You’re just cheap and don’t want to pay more.

Well...all I can say is that it is well worth anyone's time to put in a call to the Grand and explain what Blab is up to tonight at 6:45 pm. It seems after speaking with hotel management and then getting a call from the security manager, they take these matters very seriously. But now they have given me some homework to do, as they would like to have pics of Spencer Emmons and Katie Slockbower also pics of blab merchandise shirts. It was news to me that bringing private security in plain clothes with out a permit is quite the no no and would come with seriously consequences for anyone engaging in such activities, as well as having a fan meet up on property where you are making money of such fans. SORRY ABOUT IT

Oh Katie, there are so many things I’d like to point out here.

Yes, everyone has issues in their lives, including the “dumb dumbs” on Tattle. You have no idea what any of us have going on in our personal lives. You don’t know our educational background or economic situations. Some of us have Masters/Doctoral Degrees. Crazy, isn’t it?

When someone disagrees with you or puts you on blast, your first instinct is to resort to name-calling. Did you know that’s bullying? There are people in Ukraine still worrying about losing their lives. There are individuals that are kidnapped right now praying someone will find them, and you are having anxiety over a fucking theme park pass. Get a grip. You didn’t spend “thousands”. You spent $1,399. If you’re including Spencer, then yes, you spent thousands. Please see my post a few pages back breaking down the amount of money those passes have saved you in the last year based on how often you visit. It’s close to $18,000, just so you know. With both of you, probably closer to $40,000.

You’re right. There are zero problems with sharing your feelings about anything on your page, unless you are breaking Instagram’s Terms of Use. Just like there are zero problems with other YouTube channels taking content YOU have publicly posted and sharing THEIR feelings on it.
