I saw the insta photos and even after seeing Ellie I didnt see it as "her figure" I'm not denying she has a great figure, but it just didnt seem to match up.

Whilst I agree Eddie seems a bit odd, what Jenna did was very mean. It's like Barbie turned up and she wanted to prove she was the big dog that all the guys fawned over. Fair play for Eddie sharing that text from her to Ben.

I don't think she should have been demoted though, this was nothing compared to some seasons.

My interpretation is that Eddy didn't show Ben that text out of friendship, he did it to stake a claim on Jenna.
He showed Ben, knew that Ben then told her he was calling an end to what was going on, then starts texting Jenna to ask for cuddles.
He is a MASSIVE red flag
Ben plays women but is honest about it.
Eddy is scheming and controlling.

Ok just binged this season of BDDU.It was all a bit flat wasn’t it? I think a lot of it was to do with the location. Canouan looked beautiful but it was very isolated and not much going on. They never went anywhere else just anchored, had a couple of goes down the slide and went back. Even the dockings were uneventful. There was also not enough emphasis on the food for me. I like to see it prepped and served and the guests enjoying it, or not. I believe that really rich people do not go on Below Deck. They are all wannabes or living off someone else’s dime, how they scrape together the tip is beyond me. I don’t know if real yachting seasons are as short as the Below Deck ones but you think for six weeks you could grit your teeth, keep it in your pants and think of the money.
Roll on Below Deck Med. See you all in about six months.

Tzarina was a twat to her a lot last season. But I suppose when it’s a man saying a lot of the same things- it comes across more aggressive.

She has a really deluded view of her capabilities and what she should be doing. Someone needs to guide her to do better or give it all up as it’s not for her.

She talks about her passion for cooking , but when pulled it the same narrative of ‘I’m not a chef’ no one said you were

Biggest issue is the sous chef title, she’s not at that level. Shes a kitchen hand or prep cook.

I‘ve just finished BDDU and she eats noodles in bed after the nights out on that too. They must have some magic ingredient for hangover prevention. I would love to be BFF with Aesha, I bet she’s a blast in real life too.

100% with you. He’s a very good looking bloke and that’s half his trouble I think, he’s only ever had to make very minimal effort beyond that to do well with people, particularly women, so his personality is just.. bleh

I used to really like Ben and was excited when we heard he was coming back. But this season I've really not liked him. He acts entitled and thinks he's above everyone because he's a "bravo star".
He's a creep going after such a young girl, even tho she is actively seeking him out too. If he hadn't have encouraged it, I don't think she would be tho. She only likes him because he's older and she think he has money (I have no idea how wealthy he is). If he was a penniless deck hand, she wouldn't look twice. She'd think he was a creepy old man.

I don’t think anyone apart from Betul comes across well in this season. I don’t know why the lechy, sexist behaviour of the men in Below Deck seems to go unchallenged so much. I was genuinely aghast at Gary’s behaviour in the last season of BDSY and how he was allowed to get away with it.

Sous chef seems a bit sensitive - you need a thick skin in the kitchen (galley)!

Especially if your working with Ben. Ben may be a dick in the kitchen, but he's a good chef and he knows what he wants. Alesia never got properly trained for a culinary career and it shows.

I really admire Betul for going to Capt Jason and asking for a reasonable accommodation. It must be so hard to adapt to the variety of accents on board at the best of times, let alone when you’re trying to dock/set sail. I’m a native English speaker and I always have the subtitles on. I really hope she thrives now she’s let the captain know why she was struggling.

I’m not an Ellie fan, but I’m not a Ben fan either. I can’t wait to see them at each others’ throats.
