Got to say, I don’t think Nathan handled things well with Joe. He should have just sat down with him and said, look, we’ve had our differences but let’s move past it and have each other’s backs.

Gen is being a dick.

Gen is a dick, Joe and Nathan are both dicks, Kayley is a lot but seems nice enough. The chef seems to be very good at her job, I thought it was good that Aesha checked in with her after service and they both seemed happy. I wouldn't want to cross Chef Joy, but I would love to see her have a go at someone.

As if production or Captain Sandy didn't know Joe and Nathan weren't speaking. The drama they know that will bring is the only reason they're on board.

Chef Joy knocks Ben out the park, she's great even the food for the crew looked amazing. Gen seems like an entitled brat, if she was that bothered about ranks why go for a position lower than chief stew? Good for Aisha putting them all as level so she can see for herself who deserves the two stripes.

As for Joe and Nathan it's just boring now. I agree Nathan should have risen above it and cleared the air before the guests joined. Now it's just going to be toxic and tit for tat every charter ..

So my thoughts after BDM Episode 1:

Captain Sandy ... MEH!

Joe ... still a sex pest and gives total ick vibes.

Nathan ... needs to get a grip.

Gen ... going to be a total pain in the arse.

Joy ... seems like a good addition.

Aesha ... still probably one of my fave BD cast members despite the voice.

Others ... need more time to get to know them.

Format ... seems to have gone more 'back to basics' and I hope they stick with that.

Have to say, I'm sure I've seen Captain Sandy have a bump on a previous season, but she said this was the first time she's ever crashed???

It’s really made my day that the other two deckies are pretty hot and also so much taller than Joe just as he deserves

Nathan is a terrible manager , sorry . We all have to work sometimes with people we don’t like . But he’s gone about working with Joe completely the wrong way

I was thinking that too. I’m sure she hit something in a previous series unless that was Captain Kerry?

I love the Scouse accent and have fancied men for less. But. Joe’s voice really grates on me (& Nathan is as dim as ever).

Thank goodness for Aesha. (& I think she’s had minimal work done round her mouth maybe but not much, not trout pout or anything.)
