They all complained about poo in the shower but when Kizzi was changing the toilet hadn't been flushed 🤢
Having to handle Someone else's shit out of a shower drain is not the same as Someone not flushing the toilet lol

Joe is only crying because he knows hes going to look like an absolute dickhead doing that to V when shes dealing with everything else

Well , honestly I think that’s a bit of an unsympathetic view and rather a callous way to look at it . She likely made the choice pretty selflessly as well as I’m sure Nathan really wanted to film the show but didn’t want to leave her or the baby , production really wanted him there as they love a returning face and wanted to cash in on the rift he has with Joe , and so I’m sure she was getting pressure from all angles to do this . She chose poorly , yes , but likely because she was misinformed and also pressurised by a lot of people to do it .

I disagree also that she knows the score . She probably agreed to do this wayyyy before she had the baby . It’s her first - she likely had no idea what it would be like , what an emotional rollercoaster postpartum is and how isolating it can be when you have your village around you - let alone when you’re abroad , alone and away from everyone you love . 8 weeks post having a baby is such a fragile time and it’s hard to appreciate that unless you’ve actually been there .

It’s a pretty black and white view to go “well you made the call , boohoo , suck it up” .
I know it's unsympathetic, I literally said I have no sympathy.
She knows the score as in how many hours are required to work on a super yacht and the lifestyle that comes with it, and how intense a six-week condensed season is. It wasn't her first rodeo by any means, nor Nathan's.
If she signed up while pregnant, she probably should have said "I'd like to do it but I don't know what my life as a parent wIl look like so I can't make a firm decision right now".
Agreeing to stay in a hotel for up to two months, away from all other familial support, starting when that baby is less than ten weeks old is absolute madness. She's not a child and didn't previously appear to be stupid, but I clearly read that wrong. I agree that no-oke probably realises the impact having a new born has on your life, your body, your hormones and your mental health, so why not err on the side of caution and decide to stay close to a stable support network?
And if she did it because Nathan wanted to be involved, and pressure was coming from him, then he was being selfish in putting his own wants and needs ahead of those of his newborn child, and for me that would've been enough of a red flag on its own to say "You know what, no thank you."
So no, I don't feel sorry for Gael or Nathan, I feel sorry for the baby, whose welfare I seem to have thought about, sadly, far more than either of his parents.

This season will be unwatchable for me if they constantly remind us that Nathan and Gayle go on to have a baby. Just let us know when it gets messy because we know it will.

He said he’d apologised 100s of times and it wasn’t good enough. Pretty sure we haven’t seen one apology, so were they all edited out? Or just didn’t happen?

After all of the Solene nonsense of the last series I quite enjoyed BD Mediterranean today and don't get the hatred for Captain Sandy. I was also happy to see that Aleisha is engaged despite her boyfriend pooh photos and think that her shorter hair really suits her.
I also don't mind Sandy. She can be a bit annoying at times and definitely makes some odd decisions but generally she's the least annoying member of the crew.

Kyle saying "Good morning Glasgow" had me chuckling. There's a guy that shouts that in glasgow and always gets a reply 😂

Probably a niche few would have understood that.

Oh bless her 🩷 I feel her pain! Getting away from the wrong types of people and realising it doesn’t matter if they like her or not will be a blessing for her. Unfortunately, there’s probably a million Lara’s in yachting!! Go find your real people T.
Exactly. I have ADHD and find it really difficult to process if people don't accept me, or even if I get shouted out or corrected. However, I'm lucky that I was encouraged from an early age to fully be independent, not to answer to anyone to or worry about their opinions, and understand that if people don't want to be friends, you didn't need them around anyway.

My parents always told me "As long as you can look yourself in the mirror at the end of the day and still be proud of who you are, that's enough".

Agree, her eyes are craxy and not to be an asshole but she’s not attractive and she’s clearly desperate. A terrible yet entertaining combo.
I get real second hand embarrassment watching her. There she was batting her eyes at him while behind her back he's calling her a psycho.

I went from liking Nathan for calling Joe out, to hating him again with the ridiculous throwing of chicken nuggets at Max and Cathy? I don’t really like Max either, but to a) steal a drunk girls nuggets and b) waste them by throwing them around is actual teenage behaviour.

I mean, being a smoker and getting cancer isn't really a comparable situation, the smoking may not have even been the cause, and I would always sympathise with someone who had a life-threatening illness.
I'd have sympathy for Gael if she was a new mom who'd had to leave family behind to travel with a partner in the military to some far away place; there's less of a choice, but this is reality TV. Seems like they both lost perspective here.
I'm not criticising you for being sympathetic, it's great that you are, but for me, there's too much selfish choice in this situation for my empathy.
Fair enough . I just get the impression she was railroaded into this decision . And I hate Nathan , I think he should be ashamed if he suggested to her that this was a good idea and played any part in convincing her to come with him (which I’m sure he did). The honourable thing from him would have been to turn down this season and spend time with his partner and newborn . But honourable and Nathan don’t really seem to mix !

I don't like all the close up 'filler' bits in this series! Close ups of the tap / coffee dripping into a cup / whisking eggs in a bowl.. It's all a bit OTT!
Feels like they thought people were getting bored so have 'refreshed' the format, but it doesn't work.

Especially in the nose?! He absolutely could have killed that guy, assuming he was being truthful. I wonder if he will be staying the entire season. I think he is probably the most likely to be fired based on what we have seen so far.
Apparently he hasn't posted about the show on insta which generally means being fired. I hope it is soon.

You really underestimate how much life shifts after having your first baby. They probably both naively thought that they've been yachties for so long they could adapt and throw a newborn in the mix. It was never going to end well, and in the trenches of postpartum the last place you want to be is away from your family and friends in a foreign Country.

Ive not watched todays yet. But the last 2 seasons tbh i think joe is more qualified/or more common sense work wise to be the bosun. Everything he says when shit goes down, (im no boat worker obv 🙄😂) but he seems to read situations way ahead of nathan regarding the actual boat/deck work. His suggestions are generally ignored, but i do think work wise he should be in that position. I dont like nathan work wise or off wise..he forgets how much shit he also caused with female stews back in the day. But as he found gael, he kind of the attitude.. ive grown up and not messing around so Joe should too. And im going to be a dickh*ad to him if he doesnt follow my example (off the boat wise/stew gals etc) if he hadnt got back with Gael. Ive no doubt at all he would still be playing about himself being messy with all the stews.
