Omg same!!! For me scamanda makes more "sense" because of the us healthcare system where you can seemingly shop around... but even so... annoyed I have to wait a week for each episode
Same! I just found it this weekend so I thought all the episodes were already out. So sad!

I actually can’t believe how long she got away with it…. I’m wondering how she had pictures in the hospital, had visitors, bumped into people at the hospital etc. Hope they cover all of that.

So did she pass away because of all the drugs she was taking? If you take loads of painkillers it can give you a fatty liver can’t it?

Won't let me just post the spoilered reply so lalala...
Long day waiting today....so binge watched all 3 episodes!!!! OMG Its awful. But definitely worth a watch. to the end!!

Its very carefully constructed, across the 3 episodes! With a lot of to camera interviews with people who knew Meg and Jean. Having read the previous pages, I think it gives a lot of answers to the questions raised!!
One of the main interviewees is Megs older sister, Nina I think they are full sisters, but couldnt quite work it out! The first episodes cover the starting of the charity and the expose of the charitable fraud that was being committed and how it was exposed. The last episode is about Meg and her illness and drug addiction to painkillers, that was stopped by the NHS and then privately funded via dodgy dealing with the Harrods pharmacy! Jean has to have been heavily involved in all the munchhousen by proxy stuff, convincing Meg that she had a brain tumour when she didnt. The funeral was stopped at the last minute because someone made a complaint to GOSH, or a major london hospital to check exactly what she died of, and they asked the police to intervene and have an inquest.

Jean was suspected of killing Meg by people who reported their concerns to the police. They did further tests but nothing showed, it had been weeks since her death at this point and not all things show up.
I know, my earlier comment covered that. It doesn't explain why she arranged a funeral then cancelled it a few minutes beforehand though.

If anyone wants a recommendation, I’ve been listening to another similar podcast called Scamanda which is just as crazy!!

I never thought about this before, because we already know she was scamming, but this lie just seems quite lazy to me. As shit as things are for the NHS, and as much as they'll try to screw you out of a lot of treatments, would they really be watching a teenager die of a growing brain tumour and just not get her the surgery?

Jean probably based this on those health fundraisers you see online, without properly thinking through the fact that those are from America.
