Hes a total loser end of, but i dont think shes a bad bad parent (i know of alot worse parents). i think shes just making really really shit decisions and i know shel regret them when it all ends and she takes a step back and thinks wtf was i doing. i think shes so insecure and vulnerable she believes every word out of his mouth. lets hope the shit show ends sooner rather than later.
That’s the problem though, when you’ve no ties in your 30s and make bad decisions then it might be shit but the fallout isn’t as great. But she’s got a baby who is totally dependent on her. And it’s not going for a night out - of course parents should go that! But why take the baby out? Leave her with her grandparents or if you can’t get a babysitter, don’t go out until you can.
She’s hardly Rose West but in the last few weeks she’s taken Rory to the other side of the world with a stranger, had her in the room when they were arguing and she was throwing things around. Why didn’t she move somewhere safe before he came back to the hotel room?
Then Rory’s on the floor trying to interact with her mum but she’s too busy working/rating sex toys for fun so shoves her a packet of crisps to entertain her. Doesn’t take her to soft play until she reads here then tries to hook up with more strangers to meet her there!
Apart from the discomfort of Rory being stuck in her pram on nights out, anything more than a few drinks and you are steeply increasing the chance of not being able to react quickly if something goes wrong.
She maybe didn’t know it before but she knows now what Vick said about him assaulting the dog and I think she’s telling the truth. He seems so jealous and possessive, if he doesn’t get his way he’ll make sure he wants to hurt that person in the worst way.
I genuinely don’t think you have to become a nun when you have a kid but you just can’t carry on your life as normal. And I think she probably is quite vulnerable, but nearly as much as Rory
