As soon as they finished eating and it was apparent they were getting on a session they should have been asked to leave. Yep completely empathise as this was my husband's life as a child. I'm no wallflower but hate this around kids. All the money those bell ends are meant to have and they can't afford someone or to think she should be looked after properly why they're getting pissed!!I have been this child, I’m a 29 year old woman now and I’m still having therapy. There are so many different forms of abuse and neglect, as a child I was always dressed ok and fed, my mum didn’t hit me. But she did drag me from pub to pub, new man to new man. I had to watch her destroy herself in the name of love and every time it inevitably failed, I was the one who had to pick up the pieces. Call an ambulance when I got home from school and found her half dead from another suicide attempt.
Becky reminds me of my mum - I’m not suggesting she doesn’t love Rory and meet her basic needs, I know my mum loved me too. But that is the absolute bare minimum of what she should be doing as a mum. Her needs come first and Rory just gets taken along for the ride, it’s actually quite painful to watch. Rory deserves so much better and I can’t imagine how women who can’t have their own children feel when they watch these scenes, it’s one big sick joke.
