News: Becki stuffed her face at a food festival and celebrated "my parker's" (sic) birthday but has now announced she's having a free gastric sleeve courtesy of a shady af company in Turkey. Apparently that is why she needed a passport. She appears to have 0 bleeping idea what gastric sleeve surgery actually involves, and says her content won't change and she's not going to become "a weight loss page." Hey Becki, what do you think they expect in exchange for them gifting you the procedure? What do you think your WIEIADs are going to consist of? She's not ready for a diet but is ready for major surgery and gets it all free whereas other people have to wait years on the NHS.

But there's light at the end of the tunnel (maybe!) After a bunch of her followers and even Corysworld pointed out that medical tourism companies can be very dodgy and she hasn't even tried Wegovy/Mounjaro, she released a video saying she's "erm a bit confused" about going ahead. So might be changing her mind after all which is just as well because she's in for a nasty shock if she doesn't.

WLS won't work for her. You're supposed to give up fizzy drinks for a start. She drinks a hell of a lot of her cals in milkshakes, and full sugar crap she rushes out to buy as a new menu is launched. You also are supposed to do a high protein diet with supplements for the rest of your life. Not a chance she will stick to this.

She will drop a few stone to start, then the cravings will kick in and she will be back to square one. She says cal deficit doesn't work for her, but what does she think a gastric band is? It's just an extreme way of putting you in a deficit.

WLS doesn't work unless you put the work in. I know someone who had it done, lost 10 stone in the first year, then old habits crept back in. They carried on eating little portions of Chinese takeaway rice a few times a week, carried on ordering cakes and pancakes thick with cream at every opportunity. Gained back a load of weight in pregnancy and now wonders why the weightloss is at standstill. Couldn't possibly go back to basics of course, it's all the fault of the WLS failing.
