  • She made one of those 'I'm going to try the cheapest, the most expensive, and mid priced korma in my local area'. Yes Becca, Gloucester is the centre of the Universe and if that curry is amazing we're all hopping on a train for one. Not.
  • In her video, she said that Curry Hut in Gloucester's korma had a piece of wire and also for good measure a piece of hair in the curry. Thus meaning even if one person in Gloucester saw that review and thought, I'm not eating there, she's done them out of money
  • Curry Hut start receiving calls about the video
  • Curry Hut reviewed the video and noticed that the packaging was different to their standard packaging
  • Becca then received a DM from them. English is their second language and as such the wording and tone was a little off. But in my humble opinion they had every right to have a go at her for saying something was from there when it wasn't. She didn't do due diligence at all on where the products came from as they were in unmarked containers, so should never have made the video on the first place.
  • She made an 'apology video' which was basically herself playing the victim, blaming everyone but herself and said she'd remove the review as a 'gesture of goodwill'. It's the least she should be doing when attempting to impact buying decisions of consumers.
  • The comments didn't go the way she wanted on the fake apology so she deleted that, and put up a worded statement. That didn't go how she wanted either
  • Curry Hut wrote a post on their own page and garnered much symapathy
  • Now it looks like she's done another apology. Hopefully it's better than last time.
maybe the hair in her curry was from her dads toupee lol

exactly this, which is always what confuses me too. Her knowledge does seem to be fairly basic given the amount of times something fairly well known is “new” to her, or she can’t pronounce something fairly standard properly. I remember how intrigued she was by the M&S strawberry sandwich and didn’t know it was a take on the Japanese Sando. (I didn’t know what a sando was either till recently but I’m not a food reviewer who claims to have foodie credentials).
She also thought a matcha latte had coffee in it and got really defensive in the comments when people were correcting her

Complete with the no make up and teary eyed look straight out of the influencer apology video playbook.
Some people are so dense. Some of her followers still telling her she has nothing to apologise for in a video where she is saying she HERSELF that she needs to apologise. Just shows that some idiots will blindly support some creators and live up their arses.

I saw one of the comments saying so basically we can’t trust any of her reviews that she’s done like this, and she said no this is the first time it’s happened. How does she know that?

I’ve read in the comments of her new apology video that the deleted “apology” has been reposted by other accounts, but I can’t seem to find it. Has anybody saw it reloaded anywhere? I’m dying to see it. Her self importance even when she’s in the wrong is ASTOUNDING. She can’t take any criticism… funny, considering that’s what her whole thing is. Critiquing everything she puts in her mouth and inevitably hating 99% of it.

She was moaning about how she was spoken to by the restaurant for the most of it and showing screenshot of their texts and trying to play the victim. Which is absolutely outrageous in the circumstances

She's just thick as tit with an astronomical ego. The bare facts are she bad mouthed a business - stating negative untruths about them that could potentially materially damage them, reputationally and financially. Even a sincere apology wouldn't really be good enough here, as the way tiktok works, there's just no way to ensure that people who saw the original review would see her 'apology' afterwards (and with rabid fandoms, there are too many people who simply wouldn't believe she did anything wrong even if she stated it unequivocally). She reaps the benefits of this being her 'profession', so she should be more professional in her behaviour. 'Everybody makes mistakes' - actually, no, most professionals have procedures or checks and balances to ensure that they don't duck up in ways that can't be undone.

Exactly. When she snapping back in original comments saying she had done this job for so many years she didn’t care then. Also, if she had done this job for a long time, then how did she make such an simple massive mistake

She most definitely is one of the creators that needed bringing down a peg or two, hopefully the Curry Hut drama has done that.

There's another tiktoker who does similar review of ready meals etc, think it's Leishslife, I much prefer her reviews, she doesn't have the same smug/cocky attitude

I havent seen her in a while but it struck me the other day her hair is an odd orange tinge to it. Wasnt she original brunette?

The expression and sigh at the very start of that original apology video says it all. She’s doing it under duress as damage limitation, it’s not genuine. Thats what the comments on it were overwhelmingly saying.
She soon turned the waterworks on after that bloke told her he thought she was disgusting as he passed by her table in a restaurant where she was reviewing a full English. Not saying that was right but he didn’t face her up, he said it as he passed by off camera and she called him back to challenge him probably thinking it would be good content. Ended up crying.
Having said all that I find her strangely compelling. Maybe it’s her puckered, mole-like gob.

She’s got the mannerisms spot on but completely ruined it when Becca responded by replying saying she loves her videos.

I’m sure we’re all in agreement that Becca does not influence what we choose to eat whatsoever, so how she’s a good food blogger is beyond me. Along with her male counterpart who hates everything Grumpy Northern Foodie. Never seen that guy score anything above a five either!

Has anyone else seen food reviewer called Leishslife?

She tries different foods and I'm liking her videos a lot more than Beccas at the moment
