Tin Foil hat accounts with large-ish followings (50k+) on Twitter are now naming him openly. I think today might be the day it all breaks.

FISHWIFE MODE ACTIVATED (are the MumsNet lot covering this btw?)

I think there's definitely a wider issue here, exceeding that of 'protecting ponces'

I'm in two minds about it, but you can guarantee there are many Blues and Duws knocking one off to 'barely legal teens'. Scof and now this... who's going to be bleeping next? Not a pun.

so you think they just got each others phone numbers by chance ?

he was 17 and hooked on drugs

for one thing its childporn
secondly a person addicted to drugs is hardly in a frame of mind to 'consent' anyway

dont compare this to OF ......

The age when the pictures were taken hasn’t been confirmed.

how do you know that the person was aware of the drug addiction when sending the money?

you think drug addicts aren’t selling their pics/vids on OF to raise money for their next fix?

@ImNotJeremyVine you joined this site at the weekend, since when you've posted 150 posts, almost all of them extremely long, and all of them on one subject only.

Yeah. Totally normal forum behaviour.

But this person exercises impeccable judgement in their job. That much so they are respected by their employer to be given the public facing role they have and the huge responsibilityit comes with. (if who it is alleged)

I dont get it at all.

Something isn't right here.

And I'm not making light of it or defending any actions or being disrespectful to any victims here....just the why child in me is struggling with the WHY? And is the answer to the why worth the loss of everything?
It’s a story as old as time, that will be playing out up and down the country. Most of the time the fact the treasurer of the local rotary club has been up before the beak for questionable activities will only make the local paper … but the loss in social standing and reputation will be the same.

It sounds like the presenter was more than happy to gift money to people judging by the lockdown tea party person which may be why the Sun isn’t so certain about the claims they made of illegal behaviour originally - receiving money no longer means that the person engaged in certain behaviour

The gifting money situation is weird though, but it also sounds like it could be contained to a dating app which some have speculated could be linked to a sugar baby/daddy situation

Get him back on our screens already. Whole load of nothing.

Old closeted gay man wanted to trade his old wife in for a handsome, young homosexual -- of legal age.

He's done nothing illegal.

From Beeb:

We've also been hearing from people on Nicky Campbell's 5 Live Breakfast show. In contast to Jeremy Vine's comments, media lawyer Paul Gilbert says: "There is no reason why the identity of this person should be revealed."

Giving his take on the allegations surrounding an unnamed BBC presenter, he describes them as "an issue for an employer" and none of our business "as the situation currently stands".

Gilbert says court decisions on privacy in recent years often show concern about "the adverse impact of the reporting of these stories on the person" as well as anyone else who "might be affected".

He adds that's why "we don't know the name of the presenter - and quite rightly so".

Love, the horse has bolted. WE ALL KNOW WHO IT IS.

Apart from the people still on thread one who are seriously considering Michael McIntyre or Mr Tumble.

i missed the tea party bit ?

what happened ?
Allegation number four is that he travelled to see someone during lockdown, but was repeatedly asking for a cup of tea? The person involved just thought the tea obsession was a bit weird. Maybe he has a Twinings fetish.

Can we not with the "child porn" please, it's not the right term, child sex abuse imagery accurately describes it. Porn is made by consenting adults.

Having worked with a lot of LGBTQ+ vulnerable teens/YAs, the sad reality is that lots do use OF to feed addictions/their own mental health. It's definitely a wider issue

Once again.
Since the police became involved, legally they can only reveal so much & nothing that could jeopardize any future trial.

you are right - the age of victim when pictures were sent hasnt been confirmed - because theres not been a court case (yet)
but you really are splitting the finest hair - the messages started when the victim was 17 according to his mother - from the date and the victims age now - its a simple calculation he was 17 - you seem very desperate to defend the bbc predator
