Hi Autumn peops. I’m going through a really rough time. My child has been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and my husband might have it too (genetic). Plus work is awful and my boss has been vile. I’m signed off sick at the moment. Going to try and find the energy today to cheer myself up and put out my wreath and autumnal decorations.

Do/can you bake? Often baking can be a nice and relaxing stress reliever, and it could give you a little focus. Maybe baking some simple Autumn bakes for your son/daughter and husband could be something to take your mind away from the negative things in life at the moment. BBC has some simple recipes, it doesn't need to be anything complicated. Sending positive vibes and hopefully things look up for you soon. :)

My autumn/winter wardrobe arrived today, I have a curry bubbling away in the slow cooker, I've started putting out my fall decor... the only problem is I live in Spain and it's 30 degrees still 😂

This is horrendous and so unfair. I hope this thread is just a glimmer of happiness for you x

I’ve got the slow cooker out for the first time this year!! 🙊🙊 I’m making a slow cooker chicken roast dinner tonight with apple crumble and custard for after 😋 got some lovely red wine to go with it too, yes on a Tuesday but why not 😂

I’m going to read my book for a while before I go to the gym and start dinner, going to make the most of the two weeks I have off before going back to work.

Can’t wait for it to get dark and put all my fairy lights and candles on and cuddle up with a cosy dinner, my hubby and our dog 🥰 Love this time of year.

Hope everyone going through a tough time is taking care of themselves too ❤

It's dropped from 30 degrees here to 23 overnight so I'm a little bit chilly today 😆

Thank you for your well-wishing posts. Trying to make the best of the cosy season to try and comfort my son. We’ve got twinkly lights going and we made chocolate mint biscuits at the weekend which were delish. In a bid to cheer him up we’ve asked the neighbours if we can walk their dog a few times a week and they said yes so I’m looking forward to dog walks in crunchy leaves!

I'm wearing 'real' clothes today after months of dresses over the summer. Autumn has finally hit Spain 🤣

The downstairs dressing gown is out! Bought in Primark mens dept sale around 20 years ago for £3.00. Size small and very cosy.
My upstairs dressing gown from same place at the same time. Blue fleece and it looks the same as when I bought it. So fast fashion can last donkeys years.
Remember when onesies were all the rage and people were out shopping in them? 😭
