Honestly this is such privileged BS. Like the government can't and shouldn't keep funding concessions for rich people given the state of the world/economy. Did a big rant about trans people and how wrong they are, now homosexuality doesn’t align with her ‘family’s ideals’. Spews a whole lot of really hateful stuff justifying it with the bible but then ignores the parts that don’t match her life like having tattoos etc.
Got roasted for saying sunscreen was toxic, is staunchly anti vax, is now home schooling and when someone wrote a comment saying that they hope she’d find ways for her girls to embrace their leadership skills if that was something they were geared towards, because the lack of formal schooling means the chance for leadership among peers, for the self pride that comes from winning a race or topping a class or getting chosen as a class captain etc doesn’t exist, she responded by saying yes, she’s going to ask if her oldest daughter could help out at the younger girls’ day care. She’s very deliberately creating 3 little trad wife mini versions of herself and I find it so yucky.
She’s all about ‘natural consequences’ and this week did a TikTok about how she didn’t remind or check that her 6 year old had her backpack when they went off to forest school and that bad luck, it’s her kid’s responsibility. (Personally I think a mum of a 6 year old must be bleeping blind to usher their kid into the car and not realise they’re not carrying a backpack?!). Anywho, she got a bit of backlash to that and so proudly made a reminder sign to hang at the doorway to prompt her daughter to make sure she has everything she needed for a day.
The sign read ‘SCOUTS FORREST CHECK LIST’. I politely pointed out that if she was really set on homeschooling that perhaps she should brush up on her basic spelling and grammar and set a good example because Scout’s needs and apostrophe and forest only has one r. She blocked me and deleted the TikTok
I really feel for some of these home schooled kids

I think they think the changes to CGT affect small business, despite the CGT concessions for small business remaining unchanged
And half of them are cheating on their taxes anyway.
Influencers talking about politics- lol. I’m sure they are patting themselves on the back in a self congratulatory manner for positively educating the poors. “Let’s all speak about the budget- show people we are more than just people encouraging excessive consumerism”. Pity they will always have self serving interests- it isn’t ever going to be presented neutrally. They don’t give a damn about people living on the poverty line.
Does anyone else follow Katherine Denton? She makes out like she is a full time Jeweler and therefore has a full time nanny, but her day in the life videos consist of gym, manicures, blow dries and then ambiguous footage of her in “meetings”

Lurked here and there- not a fan. Comes across as a typical wealthy white woman, à la Judd et al. Rich husband (family makes cosmetics for Mecca and other brands) who donated to the “No” campaign (Indigenous voice in parliament). I get that people can have differing opinions, but to actually donate money to a campaign to vote no seems diabolical. So, as far as I’m concerned she’s guilty by association. Now, she fluffs around “making” jewellery (I think she just finds diamonds and outsources the creative and manufacture) for other wealthy folk, shopping excessively and probably doing Pilates and buying matcha I assume? Haven’t watched her for awhile. I mean- good for her I suppose, but I find that all just incredibly boring. At least she doesn’t show her kid online I guess.
She doesn’t totally belong here and in general seems pretty unproblematic but I found this interesting from April Rose Pengilly (ex neighbours) about what she did in the build up to her wedding but also that she was already doing this regularly. There is probably more than she has listed, such as injectables.
Probably not even that much compared to what some people in Hollywood would do but quite interesting (to me) to see the level of maintenance involved, it requires more money and time than the average person will have and also more pressure to maintain a particular aesthetic.

The time and money all this would take is bonkers, but yeah pretty normal for anyone in the public eye.
