Speaking of Kyle, what do we think happened there? Feels like there is way more to the story.

Apparently (well, according to news dot com, anyway) the breakdown of their friendship started a while ago, maybe this is simply the proverbial straw that broke the camels back.

I'm finding it hard to have a lot of sympathy. She's stood by for 20 years, while he abuses women, making her millions, and only seems to care because this time she was the target? Perhaps Im being unfair, and she finally has a new perspective on his misogynistic rants.

I actually think Jackie is back in rehab

She didn’t look great in some of the footage over the last few weeks honestly and I agree with Kyle’s airhead commenys

I wonder if it’s another cover for a rehab stint. Hopefully she’s ok!

Time will tell. I reckon Kyle’s gonna turn nasty and all their secrets will be disclosed.
I think she’s off to Italy or so I’ve read somewhere. Who knows but I’d hate to be on the receiving end of Kyle’s anger

Jackie has clearly done the work, she is a fantastic example of this I feel. And in her memoir she touched on no longer being a people pleaser and no longer wanting to feel all the discomfort to save another from it. I can see how this mindset after years of therapy and a huge metamorphosis of rehab plus being in her fifties and therefore likely caring less about being “polite” plus also peri could lead to this. It does feel extremely dramatic to have lead to this, so curious if we will ever hear the full story because there has to be more!

I think the station will be stoked to get out of that ridiculous contract if they can through this. Radio advertising is not what it used to be and stations just don’t make the money to pay talent $200m.

I actually agree with (Jackie going through a finding herself mid life crisis) is what got to her. Not the years of misogynistic treating women like tit, including her.

I agree! I think it is too, she will be back and they will get high ratings ehen she returns. Those two are best friends and there’s no way any of it is true in my opinion.

Yeah with podcasts and music streaming it surprises me radio shows exist at all, I guess the live interactive part appeals.

But yes ok I feel like this would suggest it was a long time coming and the final straw rather than just one comment she didn’t like. Hard to say. It was quite embarrassing saying everyone she works with and considers friends all say this behind her back. But she probably had one foot out the door as it was.

Kyle did a podcast with Karl Stefanovic recently and I thought it was very telling at the end Karl had some questions for him that were written by Jackie…. It’s obvious from a woman’s POV that the questions she was asking was her attempt at trying to get answers/an apology from Kyle about something.. but of course that went straight over his head and he responded in his usual narcissistic way.
It was posted before the massive blow up, and is definitely an eye opener.

I don’t think so this time. Kyle may be back but Jackie’s gone. I don’t even think she’ll do her own radio show that has been offered to her.

Im also really happy for Laura and glad she got the help she needed, especially the break off social media. I watched it all go down live and it was honestly scary, I hope the way she is talking now is just how she is and not the beginning of another breakdown for her I think most if not all of us were genuinely concerned for her in the end and Im glad she acknowledged that we aren't just a bunch of assholes.

Yeah it seems eerily similar to how it all began last time. Her parents, Ben and the kids would be stressing that it will happen again
