I’ll never understand how brands ever thought that sending PR packs to “influencers” and then the “influencer” sharing it, would make customers want to buy the products. Like cooool this person got sent all this free stuff, let me go out and use my own money to buy it. Insane. And we’ve all been sucked into this too,
So very true
I cam across a TikTok this week where a teacher in the US out of her own pocket had little set ups of personal hygiene products and snack foods for students who didn’t have access to this stuff from home. Her tiktok went viral and she has been sent so much stuff. I’d rather support brands with my hard earned money that support this wonderful educator than greedy influencers.

im honestly over the greed and the sneaky grifted/ad of these influencers especially the ones that make the actual word #ad or gifted so effing small

Tara Pavlovic got blood test results back that showed elevated cholesterol levels, so she calls her disgusting pig of a husband and he says “well you better lose some weight then”. No concern for her health, no words of support. Girl leave him already. He absolutely hates you. But I guarantee he hates all women. So gross, no idea what she sees in him.

...as someone who's family have been rocked by a very high profile murder by a complete stranger!!!! I've not seen one post that actually gives good indication of what needs to be done.
The government needs to do more, this needs to be stopped. No shit but that's really not productive advice, while in the cases of people being known to police I agree more could be done, but what about the random attacks???
How do we stop random attacks?? Absolute strangers, no history, how do you think the police can stop them, there not mind readers, human behaviour is unpredictable, you can't just say "stop hurting woman"
To be honest I just think we need to try protect ourselves no one else is going to stop it.

Rachel Finch and this ridiculous training for the cross country makes me sad. Her daughter looks miserable and it going to hate running when she grows up because her only memories of running are going to be of her crying and her mum forcing her to do it
This is so sad 😞

Who the fuck (intentionally) eats in a calorie defecit while pregnant??
Skipping dinner while pregnant because you've indulged with friends and reached your daily calories is an eating disorder. Extremely dangerous especially while pregnant and being a parent. Kids need adequate food to sustain them and that includes carbs. She's fairly anti carbs even with her kids which is not okay - they need energy to be kids!!

I'm talking about when she first started seeing him. Within the first weeks. She wasn't a long standing partner trying to exit. The girl was blind to so many people telling her.
Yes, and that’s really what I refer to when I spoke of Katie Byron’s work. You can also read about it in many different wellness and self help type books or Insta accounts. It’s too complex for me to explain but women (and men, people) don’t just go “oooh a red flag, I want that” for no reason. There’s layers upon layers of nuance and personal experience that inform our outlooks and views of self. Warning someone does little if their wiring and self esteem doesn’t support the understanding of it, or deter them. This same “stuff” is how women who have been abused before, end up with another abuser. It’s a cycle.
Yes, they need to do the work for themselves in order to change and attract something different. I’m not saying people aren’t responsible for their well-being and themselves, totally they are. But a) working through and accessing the support in order to change takes time and resources and moreover, B) just saying “I told you so” doesn’t fix anything for anyone.

It’s really quite complicated and complex, and I hope this has been useful for people to consider different viewpoints and life experiences, and have empathy for others.

Is it just me, or is Rachel Finch a bit aloof and dismissive with her daughter? She‘s straightening Violet’s hair and the little girl is quite excited, saying how much she loves her hair long and straight. Rachel‘s only reply was ‘you've already said that’! No, it looks so lovely or how pretty you look etc. Just straight up ditch-face …then starts joojing the back of it, until poor Violet said ‘are you ruining my hair mum, I don’t like it messy’.

What’s up with that?

Rachel only seems interested in her kids performance & achievements. No spontaneous warmth or affection. She appears to save all that for hubby, whom she’s obsessed with

Its just too much. She is way too young to be pushed all day every day in every area of her life. What does Violet get to do for herself ? Everytime I watch a story it’s some kind of training or consuming extremely clean food. Where’s the joy. I don’t want to comment on a child’s body but she is so thin. Violet burns so much energy I hope Rachel is feeding her enough calories.
The constant “the kids will see our discipline” garbage - those kids will burn out and not find any joy in movement when it’s constantly forced. It’s painful to watch. Not every kid likes sport. Yes there are tons of benefits to being physically active - but most kids naturally are. I wouldn’t find it inspiring to have someone to push me to train for x country on the weekend. It’s also a bit rich considering neither Rachael nor her creep husband are elite athletes. Even Candice and David Warner wouldn’t push their kids to this extent and both of them have the background!

Georgia Love still in Bali for her luxury escapes continued free holiday and promoting dresses from another company, guessing they’re all “gifted” too. Why would anyone want to buy anything she sells? She’s a nobody who met her husband on tv
😂 “She’s a nobody who met her husband on tv” just reminds me of the classic Clueless line “you’re a virgin who can’t drive”.

Don’t worry, I’m 516 months old and I still can’t self settle
I self settle now at 449 months but I still rarely sleep through the night, I probably woke 3 hourly last night but I didnt call out for my mum. Sometimes I still do when I’m feeling really sick or back when my own babies were up all night and I just needed some support. Wild that people think a 7 week old could do it all on their own!!!!

I love how they share these calendars and are so completely ignorant as to how absurd their claims of long hours working and being stressed are.

Journaling and meditation for an hour in the morning (not sure who’s getting the kids ready for school? Is this why she’s always so pissed off at them - because they’re interrupting her precious 7am-8am session?) and then again at night? Plus 2 hours of self care/free time on Wednesday and Friday? There are people who escape war zones who don’t need this much self reflection time 😬
