I think some parents weigh up baby sleep vs a slight cry. Baby sleep is so critical for their growth and development. If it’s so fucking bad and they’re barely sleeping I think it’s the best thing to do for your child. You don’t have to let them cry alone. You can be with them and never let them get so hysterical. Usually when it comes to sleep it’s because they rely on something to fall asleep and they cry because that’s not there. But if you replace it with someone that doesn’t impact them if they wake up and it’s gone then it’s a great tool

I’m in WA and the suns up at 4am here too, plus we have sunshine for 85% of the year and the heat too. Everyone always forgets that WA is very similar to QLD life but my kids have never been up at 4am due to the sun, we have always made sure the rooms are blacked out so the sun can’t come through

Oh how jealous I am now, living in the other side of the world in Austria where it’s currently winter and the sun didn’t come out for almost all November and December so far and it’s freezing

I’ve only recently noticed how displaced Grettys implants are. They’re basically at the side of her chest/in her arm pits. I thought nothing of it until over the weekend when she was wearing something under her dress so she didn’t have a random nip slip from under her arm… I wonder if she will get them fixed?

Any repeatable sleep consultant would tell a parent to attend to their baby if they wake crying or wake at all and that it’s normal for them to wake during the night. They don’t set a time frame on any of it. It can be controversial for most because they cry a little learning to self settle but sleep consultants are really not as bad as people think
