Not overly AB related -- I couldn't scroll by without saying I hope you are okay after your mums passing & gaining custody of your niece. I have care of my 2 nieces whilst my mums been ill. With my 3 and my nieces, I haven't had a second alone not even when I am at work as I'm dealing with others requests lol, even still I look forward to seeing their faces every afternoon. They are my everything! Ashy will be old one day, the b**bs will sag and the botox will migrate and she will realise she spent too many years being vain and 'influencing' strangers instead of being with her babies.What’s sad is she probably doesn’t even realise what she’s missing out on by being away from her kids so much.
I have an almost 4 year old, a 12 week old and have had custody of my 5 year old niece since August (when my mum died, who she previously lived with). I get little to no me time (except when I walk the dog each day) and I will have to go back to work in a couple of months due to the rising cost of living and interest rates, but the kids make all of the shitty stuff bearable. I couldn’t imagine not being with them everyday or including them in my daily tasks even though some days I count down to bedtime
She wont get this time back, and her kids will remember her always being out and never with them.
